Precipitation
is
one
of
the
most
variable
climatic
parameters,
as
it
determined
by
many
physical
processes.
The
spatiotemporal
characteristics
precipitation
have
been
significantly
affected
climate
change
during
past
decades.
Analysis
trends
challenging,
especially
in
regions
such
Greece,
which
characterized
complex
topography
and

several
ungauged
areas.

To
analyse
the
potential
future
ecological
state
of
estuaries
located
in
temperate
climate
(here
exemplified
with
Odense
Fjord
estuary,
Denmark),
we
combined
end-of-the-century
change
projections
from
four
different
models,
contrasting
land
use
scenarios
("Agriculture
for
nature",
"Extensive
agriculture",
"High-tech
agriculture"
and
"Market
driven
agriculture")
two
eco-hydrological
models.
By
decomposing
variance
model-simulated
output
all
scenario
model
combinations,
identified
key
sources
uncertainties
these
projections.
There
was
generally
a
decline
estuary
warmer
climate.
Strikingly,
even
most
nature-friendly
scenario,
where
proportion
intensive
agricultural
area
converted
to
forest,
may
not
be
enough
counteract
negative
effects
on
estuary.
