Benthic bacteria are drivers of aquatic ecosystem material circulation and energy flow, sensitive to environmental changes. In this study, a total 79 sediment samples were collected from four representative habitat types (duck farm, fish lotus pond residential area) one reference site (conservation district) Baiyangdian Lake, North China, in three seasons (winter, spring summer). The physical chemical properties the levels contaminants determined. Bacterial communities studied by 16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing techniques. result showed that, Proteobacteria, Chloroflexi, Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes Actinobacteria dominant species at phylum level Baiyangdian. Sulfuricurvum, Thiobacillus Dechloromonas, Sulfurovum, Nitrospira Desulfatiglans genus level. was different among habitats. Proteobacteria exhibited highest relative abundance all seasons, winter. main functional group sampling sites contamination tolerance bacteria, such as sulfur-oxidizing, sulfate-reducing nitrifying bacteria. Sulfur-oxidizing found mainly duck farms areas, whereas occurred ponds. Habitat type most important factor influencing bacterial community composition, evenness diversity. Sediment pH amount active phosphorus played role composition community, heavy metals (Zn, Mn Cr) organic pollutants (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, PAH) also had moderate influence. As Lake is central Xiong'an New Area, water quality management has become hottest topic. Plenty researches about variables taken, but lacking report This study provide basic information area, help understand response seasonal change, which scientific basis for recovery reconstruction degraded ecosystem.
