While it is evident that trade‐offs Agenda's objectives might prevent from achieving all 17 simultaneously, extent to which interactions (synergies trade‐offs) facilitate or hinder Agenda has so far received little attention. present study combines topics by linking synergies European Union (EU) member states with a longitudinal these goals. SDG assessed through Spearman's rank order correlation, while calculated according Eurostat's measure. Using regression analysis, we find significant negative relationship shares among indicators moderate positive synergies, suggesting have bigger influence on pace than synergies.
