Various hybrid desalination systems have been proposed during the last two decades to improve produced water quality, energy efficiency, production rate and sustainability among others, receiving therefore a rapid industrial implementation. Desalination processes are intensive this is mostly provided by fossil fuels, especially for large scale commercial plants. No doubt, use of renewable (RE) sources way forward decrease environmental related health impact produce supply freshwater in remote regions with severe shortage an unfavourable or unfeasible connection public electrical grid. However, most installed plants small capacities, yet facing several issues long term operation. Therefore, study restricts fuel based source provides thorough analysis summarising design, operation, performance, techno-economic associated challenges seawater on experimental/real plant simulation studies reported since 2000. It includes mature membrane-based thermal-based technologies, namely Reverse Osmosis (RO), multistage flash (MSF), multi-effect distillation (MED), number emerging membrane-thermal technologies. Future opportunities systems, including RO/MSF RO/MED also highlighted.

Sustainability practices in a working environment represent superior quality performances, while risks remain to be challenge. Our study’s primary purpose is deploy the bibliometric method analyze related literature. Bibliometric parameters analyzed using VOSviewer software were employed identify citations relevant sustainability and risk contexts’ critical themes. From 1990–2020, reflection of 1233 documents appeared Scopus on management. We searched current papers, authors, institutes, keywords VOSviewer. This review presents a detailed summary of the latest technologies used in flywheel energy storage systems (FESS). paper covers types and employed within FESS, range materials production reasons for use these materials. Furthermore, this provides an overview uses covering vehicles transport industry, grid leveling power domestic industrial electricity providers, their motorsport, applications space, satellites, spacecraft. Different machines are also discussed. serves to analyse which implementations reduce cost permanent magnet synchronous machines. Solar‒driven interfacial water evaporation is a convenient and efficient strategy for harvesting solar energy desalinating seawater. However, the design fabrication of evaporators still challenge reliable practical applications. Wood-based solar-driven emerge as promising environmentally friendly approach it provides renewable porous structures. In recent years, surface modifications innovative structural designs to prepare high performance wood-based widely explored. this review, we firstly describe superiority wood evaporators, including pore structure, chemical structure thermal insulation. Secondly, summarize developments in from carbonization, decoration with photothermal materials, bulk modification design, discuss aspects transportation capacity, conductivity efficiency. Finally, based on these previous results analysis, highlight remaining challenges potential future directions, selection high-efficient heat mass transfer mechanism large-scale production at low cost.
