Plastic is considered one of the most significant industrial inventions this era due to its excellent properties, which lend well many manufacturing applications. These days, there are tons Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) waste products that generated around world. This presents a real environmental hazard because PET not biodegradable. paper delineates physical and chemical properties justify use as an additive aggregate replacement in manufacture asphalt mixtures. Furthermore, discusses details PET-modified mixture by dry wet process with sufficient information better understand mixture. Several critical matters investigated, such modification increase resistance fatigue, rutting deformation, moisture sensitivity. results important for determining factors significantly improve pavement characteristics. The findings show addition mixtures yielded very promising results. enhanced mechanical durability, long-term sustainability pavement. Finally, using could serve environmentally friendly method dispose while simultaneously producing high-quality pavements.

Plastic pollution is one of today's great environmental challenges. Research addressing the issue plastic growing, improving our predictions risk, and informing development long-term solutions mitigations. Nonetheless, sufficient evidence already exists to show that immediate widespread action must be taken reduce release environment, thus limit future harm. Given cross-sector multi-stakeholder approach will required address pollution, it essential contrasting opinions misconceptions are tackled with respect status knowledge, relative importance plastics as an stressor, measures or mitigate harm from in environment. This perspective article lays out some key considerations recommendations for moving forward both research action.

Growing populations and consumption drive the challenges of solid waste management (SWM); globalization transport, food production, trade, including trading, distributes risks worldwide. Using hierarchy (WH; reduce, reuse, recycle) circular economy (CE) concepts, we updated a conceptual framework used by international organizations to evaluate SWM practices. We identified key steps important factors, as well stakeholders, which are essential features for effective SWM. Within this framework, qualitatively evaluated global strategies practices, identifying opportunities, barriers, best find that, although few exceptional countries exhibit zero-waste compliance, most fare poorly, exhibited high generation, incineration, disposal (open dumping, landfilling) volumes. In Global North, practices rely heavily on technologies, economic tools, regulatory frameworks, education, social engagement raise stakeholder awareness enhance inclusion participation; in South, however, many governments take sole legal responsibility SWM, seeking eliminate public "nuisance." Marine littering is a global challenge and significant threat to sustainable planet, requiring comprehensive effective mechanisms address it in manner. This study reports on bibliometric analysis that has identified the extent which topic been explored international literature, by focusing geographical scope, emphasis (micro)plastic litter policy measures. Additionally, as complement assessment of recent literature marine plastic litter, this reviews some case studies, identifying trends how cope with problem. The findings underscore imperative for heightened research efforts context littering. reveals unsustainable practices, absence robust policies inadequate enforcement substantially contribute prevalence litter. Consequently, urgent action essential, demanding implementation frameworks. Encouraging nations transition towards sustainability, particularly terms prevention environmental awareness, paramount importance. To pave way cleaner ocean future generations, not only highlights root causes but also offers suggested solutions. These solutions serve valuable insights researchers, innovators policymakers worldwide, charting course more litter-free environment.

Invention of the plastics has largely been considered as a boon for modern life due to their light weight, high strength, and versatile application while being cheaper than other alternative materials. However, with low biodegradability, over consumption, widespread mismanagement, have now become ubiquitous in all environmental compartments are held responsible causing enormous pollution air, soil, water bodies. Bangladesh is no different from this global scenario, though there little effort assess amount plastic waste its consequence which necessary encounter mounting threat effectively. Taking into consideration, current study investigates impacts including most threatening formmicroplastics on environment human health Bangladesh. The based critical review existing literatures perspective. It found that major percentage used mismanaged Bangladesh, posing great health. This article also put forward some recommendations tackle pervasive problem alongside measures already taken by government. Overall, work aimed at creating an urge among researchers comprehensively raising concern appropriate authorities develop policies impose actions against before it too late.
