Abstract Microplastics (MPs) pollution has wreaked havoc on biodiversity and food safety globally. The false ingestion of MPs causes harmful effects organisms, resulting in a decline biodiversity. present review comprehended the current knowledge MP contamination Crustacea Mollusca from 75 peer‐reviewed articles published Asia between 2015 2023. A total 79 species (27 52 Mollusca) have been recorded to be contaminated with MPs. Out 27 Crustacea, Metopograpsus quadridentatus (327.56 MPs/individual) Balanus albicostatus (0.42 showed highest lowest contamination, respectively. Mollusca, Dolabella auricularia (2325 Crassostrea gigas Mytilus edulis (0.2 In terms country‐wise China number both phylums among Asia. Findings indices revealed very high risk all countries. Fiber was reported predominantly groups. Blue black‐colored having <500 μm μm–1 mm size were found dominantly Polypropylene as dominant plastic polymer Mollusca. essence, this provided comprehensive insight into concentration Asia, highlighting variations geographic locations.
