Secondary soil salinization in arid and semi-arid regions is a serious problem that severely hampers local agricultural productivity poses threat to the long-term sustainability of food production. utilization organic amendments presents promising approach mitigate yield losses promote sustainable production saline-alkali soil. In this study, we established four distinct treatments, chemical fertilizer (CK), humic acid with (HA), carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), amino (AA), elucidate their respective impacts on reclamation saline growth maize. The findings our study reveal notable variations desalination rates within 0-40 cm layer due application amendments, ranging from 11.66% 37.17%. Moreover, significantly increased percentage macro-aggregates as compared CK treatment. Furthermore, HA AA treatments augmented nutrient content (HA: 48.07%; AA: 39.50%), net photosynthetic rate 12.68%; 13.94%), intercellular CO2 concentration 57.20%; 35.93%) maize (HA:18.32%; AA:16.81%). Correlation analysis structural equation modeling unveiled diverse mechanisms enhancement for HA, CMC, treatments. enhanced by increasing matter promoting aggregate formation, CMC improved water facilitated salt leaching its excellent water-holding properties, while elevating effective nitrogen content. Among array amendment materials scrutinized, treatment emerged most agent enhancing conditions thus recommended preferred choice treating soils.
