Pesticides are well known for their high levels of persistence and ubiquity in the environment, because capacity to bioaccumulate disrupt food chain, they pose a risk animals humans. With focus on organophosphate triazine pesticides, present review aims describe current state knowledge regarding spatial distribution, bioaccumulation, mode action frequently used pesticides. We discuss processes by which pesticides active residues accumulated bioconcentrated fish, as toxic mechanisms involved, including biological redox activity, immunotoxicity, neuroendocrine disorders, cytotoxicity, is manifested oxidative stress, lysosomal mitochondrial damage, inflammation, apoptosis/autophagy. also explore potential research strategies close gaps our understanding toxicity environmental assessment
