The primary objective of this research is to identify commonly used data-driven decision-making techniques for contact tracing with regards Covid-19. virus spread quickly at an alarming level that caused the global health community rely on multiple methods tracking transmission and disease through systematic tracing. Predictive analytics were critical in determining its prevalence incidence. Articles accessed from primarily four sources, i.e., Web Science, Scopus, Emerald, Institute Electrical Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Retrieved articles then analyzed a stepwise manner by applying Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISM) guided authors eligibility inclusion. PRISM results evaluated summarized total 845 articles, but only 38 them selected as eligible. Logistic regression SIR models ranked first (11.36%) supervised learning. 90% indicated learning useful prediction. most common specialty healthcare specialties was infectious illness (36%). This followed closely epidemiology (35%). Tools such Python SPSS (Statistical Package Social Sciences) also popular, resulting 25% 16.67%, respectively. Doi: 10.28991/ESJ-2023-SPER-02 Full Text: PDF

Purpose “Sustainability” in a health-care context is defined by the sustainable development goals (SDGs) adopted United Nations 2015, and particular third SDG. Accordingly, this research summarizes seminal studies draw on it to identify waves of challenges affecting sector. This study aims contribute discourse sustainability organizations (HCOs) exploring role performance monitoring systems (PMS), such as balanced scorecard (BSC). Design/methodology/approach To explore issue further, authors illustrate transformation model HCOs, from inputs outcomes. The rely organizational analysis/behavior theories. They use qualitative case approach (the American University Beirut Medical Center Lebanon – AUBMC) delve into intricacies PMS implementation an HCO. Findings authors’ findings underline operationalizing within HCOs. By adopting PMS, HCOs can facilitate integration environmental, social economic factors decision-making processes. enhance their create long-term value. Research limitations/implications Despite important findings, paper not enough “generalize” “replicate” results. However, able highlight road map for HCO’s managers. Furthermore, does take account impact artificial intelligence design, analysis results produced PMS. Practical implications highlights importance strong leadership well-defined achieve sustainability. It that no longer just about reputation; across various aspects. Leaders need integrate organization’s mission, vision values. Thus, implementing like BSC crucial. On other hand, focus attract retain top talent who are increasingly concerned environmental responsibility. efforts should consider patient needs. And finally, drive innovation through developing new services, partnerships technologies reduce improve financial performance. Since the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, it has been clear that health dimension (HEDm) a severe impact on sustainability, which was originally considered from pillars of society, environment and economy. Hence, integration into other three is plausible to define guidelines criteria for progress monitoring policy assessment towards health-sustainable city. The objective this study aims present Health Sustainability Model (HSM), four-dimensional model sustainability (health, economy, environment, society), using Del-phi method determine potential indicators agreed by eighteen experts, including physicians who deeply understand issues assess complex dimensions in context sustainability. researchers have found 45 indicators, later grouped 15 elements 4 dimensions, high level agreement with Kendall’s W (KW) at 0.36. HSM then examined structural equation (SEM) reliability validity shown as follows: absolute fit CMIN/DF = 1.44, RMSEA 0.033, GFI 0.96, AGFI 0.94, RMR 0.025, incremental NFI CFI 0.98, TLI 0.97, IFI 0.98. Based results, valid, line empirical data. For further application, expected support city planners decision makers identifying room improvement each through employed model. In contrast existing studies mainly use qualitative data, conducting quantitative assessment, enables objectively evaluate conditions appropriately design policies improve residents’ well-being.

The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the most disruptive outbreaks 21st century considering its impacts on our freedoms and social lifestyle. Several methods have been used to monitor diagnose this virus, which includes use RT-PCR test chest CT/CXR scans. Recent studies employed various crowdsourced sound data types such as coughing, breathing, sneezing, etc., for detection COVID-19. However, application artificial intelligence machine learning algorithms these datasets still suffer some limitations poor performance results due increase misclassified data, limited resulting in overfitting deep methods, high computational cost augmentation models, varying quality feature-extracted images reliability. We propose a simple yet effective model, called DeepShufNet, detection. A method based color transformation noise addition was generating synthetic image from data. efficiencies dataset were evaluated using two feature extraction approaches, namely Mel spectrogram GFCC. proposed DeepShufNet model breathing COSWARA dataset, shows improved with lower misclassification rate minority class. achieved an accuracy, precision, recall, specificity, f-score 90.1%, 77.1%, 62.7%, 95.98%, 69.1%, respectively, positive COCOA-2 augmented training datasets. showed compared state-of-the-art-methods.

Addressing risks and pandemics at a country level is complex task that requires transdisciplinary approaches. The paper aims to identify groups of the European Union countries characterized by similar COVID-19 Resilience Index (CRI). Developed in CRI index reflects countries' risk their readiness for crisis situation, including pandemic. Moreover, study detects factors significantly differentiate distinguished groups. According our research, Bulgaria, Hungary, Malta, Poland have lowest score, with Croatia, Greece, Czechia, Slovakia following close. At same time, Ireland Scandinavian occupy top leader board, followed Luxemburg. Kruskal-Wallis test results indicate four indicators first year Among significant are not only COVID-19-related factors, i.e., changes residential human mobility, stringency anti-COVID-19 policy, but also strictly environmental namely pollution material footprint. It indicates most critical global issues might be crucial phase future we detect eight analysed economic such as GDP per capita labour markets, governance Rule Law, Access Information, Implementation Adaptability measures, social Tertiary Attainment Research, Innovation, Infrastructure.

This study investigated whether variability in air quality, especially related to vehicular emissions, during the COVID-19 pandemic could indicate social distancing. Data from situ measurements and satellite estimates were used. The areas São Paulo, Brazil, Bologna, Italy. We focused our analysis on NO2, a combustion-derived pollutant, because of its availability surface stations tracking, it has short atmospheric lifetime. analyses included graphical, statistical, wavelet transform-based approaches understand NO2 concentrations before pandemic. After confirming reduction emissions pandemic, we created normalized indices assess remoteness 2020 different locations, with focus Paulo Bologna.
