The rare earth elements and yttrium (REY) are critical resources increasingly released into the environment due to their pivotal role for an ever-growing number of high-tech products processes. Fjords, worldwide particularly in Norway, not only high importance biodiversity but they also have great economic value. Knowledge on distribution REY Norwegian coastal riverine waters is, however, surprisingly scarce. We here report data water samples from depth profiles ten stations Trondheimfjord, one Norway's largest fjords, several rivers, two wastewater treatment plants Trondheim. Our results show that different locations Trondheimfjord yield similar concentrations correlate well with dissolved organic carbon. deepest sample at each station shows lowest concentrations. shale-normalised (SN) patterns fjord resemble those North Atlantic seawater, can be distinguished open-ocean by smaller fractionation between light middle (PrSN/TbSN ≥ 0.5). Antidepressant drugs (ADDs) are one of the most extensively used pharmaceuticals globally. They act at particularly low therapeutic concentrations to modulate monoamine neurotransmission, which is evolutionary conserved pathways in both humans and animal species including invertebrates. As ADDs widely detected aquatic environment (ng/L µg/L), their potential exert drug-target mediated effects has raised serious concerns. Amitriptyline (AMI) tricyclic ADD, while monoamines, target ADDs, major bioregulators multiple key physiological processes feeding, reproduction behaviour molluscs. However, AMI on mating unknown molluscs despite ecological importance, diversity reported sensitivity ADDs. To address this knowledge gap, we investigated environmentally relevant (0, 10, 100, 500 1000 ng/L) locomotor behaviours, mating, freshwater gastropod, Biomphalaria glabrata over a period 28 days. further provide insight into (exposure water hemolymph) were determined using novel extraction method. New photocatalysts with a g-C₃N₄-ZnO heterojunction were prepared following different synthetic routes, fully characterized, and evaluated for the abatement of antipsychotic drug clozapine.
