Abstract
Chemical
exposomes
can
now
be
comprehensively
measured
in
human
blood,
but
robust
application
of
chemical
exposomics
cohort
studies
requires
knowledge

longitudinal
stability
and
interindividual
variability

Streams

riparian

Abstract
Pesticides
enter
non-target
surface
waters
as
a
result
of
agricultural
activities
and
may
reach
water
bodies
in
protected
areas.
We
measured
southwestern
Germany
pesticide
concentrations
after
heavy
rainfalls
streams
drinking
protection
area
near
Hausen
(Freiburg)
the
catchment
Queich
(Landau),
which
originates
from
biosphere
reserve
Palatinate
Forest.
On
average,

As
synthetic
pesticides
contribute
to
the
global
decline
of
pollinators,
biopesticides
have
gained
attention
as
more
sustainable
pest
management
alternatives
in
agriculture.
Despite
their
perceived
safety,
there
is
increasing
evidence
that
bioinsecticides
can
harm
honey
bees,
which
are
crucial
pollinators

commercial
crops
and
key
ecotoxicological

review

An
increase
in
herbicide
use
is
occurring
due
to
a
growing
population
and
herbicide-resistant
crops
agriculture,
which
has
resulted
more
tolerant
target
species.
Glyphosate
2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic
acid
(2,4-D)
are
two
of
the
most
commonly
used
herbicides
worldwide
recently
being
combination
pre-mixed
commercial
formulas.
Subsequently,
contamination
wetlands
will
exposure
microorganisms
multiple
chemical
stressors.
Methane
potent
greenhouse
gas
naturally
emitted
from
wetlands,
but
may
disrupt
biogeochemical
processes
leading
an
unbalanced
methane
cycle.
We
review
impacts
these
on
aquatic
microbial
communities
glyphosate-derived
nutrient
enrichment
2,4-D

oxidation,
examine
how
altered
metabolic

production
wetlands.
