Abstract Fraxinus mandshurica (Oleaceae) is used as a traditional medicinal plant for the treatment of red eyes, menstrual disorders, excessive leucorrhea, chronic bronchitis and psoriasis. To perform chemical characterization secondary metabolites F. roots, bark, stems leaves, 32 samples were collected from eight provinces in this study. A total 64 components detected four different parts by ultra‐performance liquid chromatography–quadrupole time‐of‐flight mass spectrometry. Meanwhile, nine secoiridoids obtained natural product extraction, isolation identification methods. Quantitative analysis high‐performance chromatography–diode array detection–mass spectrometry showed highest content which also consistent with parts. The results methodological validation that correlation coefficient ( R 2 ) values all >0.9993, indicating good linear range standard curve, while relative deviations precision, reproducibility stability <3%, spiked recoveries ranged 98.22 to 102.27%, experimental method was reliable stable. Hyphantria cunea is a widespread pest that causes significant issues in forestry and agriculture, with far-reaching global impact. However, ultramorphological studies of H. cunea, especially terms changes, are far from in-depth. Therefore, we investigated the ultrastructure its eggs, larvae, pupae using scanning electron microscopy, focusing on ultrastructural changes larvae across different instars. The eggs have rough surfaces, micropylar region consists rosette cells. larval head chaetotaxy symmetrically arranged, there three types sensilla antennae mouthparts. abdominal anal prolegs feature uniordinal heteroideus midband crochets. pupal abdomen has ten segments; females, genital slit (Fgs) located at anterior edge segment VIII, while males, (Mgs) situated middle IX. First-instar exhibit only primary setae, secondary setae emerge second instar. As mature, head, thoracic legs, all become larger overall. surface verrucae initially smooth, microtrichia appearing fourth instar onwards, gradually increase size. These findings provide additional features for species identification contribute to morphological study cunea.
