Abstract The “forest city” concept prioritizes green area management in the new Indonesian capital (IKN) of Nusantara, with key aspects including protection forested areas, restoration deforestation and degradation monitoring wildlife species. This study aimed to identify existing mammalian fauna IKN by direct in-direct observation. Line transects were used for observation, camera traps, cage harp mist nets, documented animal sign Focal survey areas this included old young secondary forests forest plantations found delineated IKN. These sites Grand Forest Park Bukit Soeharto, Bangkirai, inside PT Inhutani ITCI Hutani Manunggal concessions within Mentawir village Gunung Parung region. Across these sites, from 2020-2023 a regular was conducted at 74 points 9 focal update clarify historical data. results showed that natural are very important fauna, especially forest. We 52 species mammal, seven primates (e.g., Maroon Langur ( Presbytis rubicunda ), Proboscis monkey Nasalis larvatus Bornean Gibbon Hylobates muelleri Slow Loris Nycticebus coucang )), four wild cats Clouded leopard Neofelis diardi Marbled Cat Pardofelis marmorata five ungulates (e.g. Sambar Rusa unicolor Yellow Muctjac Muntiacus atherodes )). There many depend on need be protected, live using technologies, such as simple 4G GPS collars, bioacoustics recorders will helpful protection, management, minimizing human-wildlife conflict during development.

Penyediaan infrastruktur dasar sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendukung aktivitas masyarakat, dan menciptakan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan. Komponen utama dari meliputi transportasi; air bersih; sanitasi; pengelolaan sampah. merupakan bagian penting tercapainya SDGs 11 “make cities and human settlement inclusive, safe, resilient sustainable”. Prinsip ini sejalan dengan tujuan Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN “kota berkelanjutan di dunia” yaitu memberikan pelayanan secara efektif seperti pemanfaatan sumber daya energi efisien, sampah berkelanjutan, moda transportasi terpadu, layak huni sehat. Mengingat pentingnya peran pengembangan ibu kota baru Indonesia, studi terkait penyediaan perencanaan menjadi diperlukan.

Urbanization presents significant challenges to biodiversity but also offers opportunities for its protection and development. While uncontrolled urban expansion has a destructive impact on biodiversity, effective planning can play positive role in protecting maintaining biodiversity. The of human factors, such as planning, protect maintain the healthy development This study conducted an in-depth analysis evolution various wildlife migration corridors throughout full-cycle construction Xiong’an New Area (Xiong’an) China, revealing urbanization these networks. Habitats species like Sus scrofa, Bufo gargarizans, Parus minor have notably increased. Between 2016 2023, scrofa habitats grew from 35 44, large-toed frog 24 35, Chinese tit remained stable. By phase, expanded 87, 97, 58. Habitat areas significantly, especially which increased 2873.84 hectares 7527.97 phase. Large-toed 2136.86 6982.78 hectares, while 1894.25 3679.71 hectares. These changes suggest that parks green spaces provided more extensive species. In terms networks, number dispersal routes considerably. 2016, had 77 routes, frogs 16, tits 77. 91 49, respectively, surged 232, 249, 152, indicating denser network. distribution ecological pinchpoints changed significantly. 2023 were concentrated densely built areas, reflecting urbanization’s resilience, assessed through network performance, showed gradual recovery. connectivity index decreased 8.25 7.29 then rebounded 11.37 ecosystem adapted after initial pressures.

Administrative division adjustment is a new reform method and policy tool designed to align with local economic foundations revitalize the development potential of administrative districts. However, it lacks systematic quantifiable theories methods. In response, we propose Political Location Potential (PLP) model based on production functions, which specifically applicable islands. Using Zhoushan Archipelago New Area as case study, analyze efficiency mechanisms behind establishment China’s first archipelago area. The PLP consists two key components: horizontal resource allocation capability vertical management authority. City has increased from 0.007 in 2008 0.066 2022, relative energy 2.853, 3.717 1.449 during critical stages 2010–2014, 2008–2013 2013–2018, respectively. Competitive comparative advantage land-island connectivity have significant direct indirect effects island, but impact effect shows lag effect, period 3–5 years. theory offer strong explanatory power for integrating functional zones, providing fresh analytical perspective planning.
