Abstract Vehicle (related particulate matter) emissions, including primary vehicle secondary nitrate, and road dust, have become an important source of fine matter (PM 2.5 ) in many cities across the world. The relationship between emissions PM during restrictions has not yet been revealed using field observational data. To address this issue, a three-month campaign on physical chemical characteristics at hourly resolution was conducted Lanzhou, urban basin with semi-arid climate. Accurate and timely evaluation assessment of emission data its impact on environmental status has been a key challenge due to the conventional manual approach utilized for independently computing most parameters. To resolve this long-standing issue, we proposed an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven Decision Tree model adequately classify Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) based multiple Emission Parameters. The model's performance was systematically evaluated using parameters obtained from two-stroke motorcycle dataset collected in Nigeria across various metrics such as K-S Statistics, Confusion Matrix, Correlation Heat Map, Tree, Validation Curve, Threshold Plot. Statistics plot's experimental results showed considerable correlation between HC, CO, target variable, with values ranging 0.75-0.80. At same time, CO2 O2 do not correlate variable 0.00 0.09. Matrix revealed that overall accuracy 99.9% 481 true positive predictions 75 negative predictions, indicating effectiveness AI-driven model. In conclusion, our can effectively EPA high accuracy, which may spur advancement policy enhancement proper management.

Background: Air pollution is the entry or inclusion of energy substances from other components into air by humans so that quality drops to a certain level which causes not meet requirements.
