The wide application of facility agriculture accelerated the rapid development agriculture. However, microplastics pollution in soil caused by long-term residual agricultural film posed a significant threat to ecosystem and human health. Jingyang County Shaanxi Province was largest vegetable planting base northwest China. Soil samples non-facility were collected investigate distribution characteristics risks microplastics. abundance ranged from 200.00-4733.33 n·kg-1, mean 1955.00 n·kg-1. Microplastics higher than that soil, it increased with growth years. In general, size mainly less 100 μm negatively correlated particle size. Abstract Context Birds, as indicators of biodiversity, are experiencing habitat reduction and loss due to landscape changes. Evidence is mounting that the response bird richness patterns remains controversial on a global scale. Microencapsulation technology can be used for safe handling and controlled release of agrochemicals. Commercial microencapsulated formulations typically use cross-linked polymeric microcapsules, which encapsulate agrochemicals improved efficiency precise application. However, these microcapsules are nonbiodegradable add to the growing microplastic pollution challenge at end their life cycle. Herein, we demonstrate a simple one-pot process interfacial self-assembly aromatic bis-urea molecules synthesize microplastic-free encapsulating cinmethylin, an effective cineolic pre-emergence herbicide commonly against grass weeds in annual crops. The urea linkages act as hydrogen-bonding motifs forming self-assembled supramolecular shell oil-water interface. material's chemical composition was analyzed using infrared spectroscopy, 1H-NMR, mass spectrometry. Four batches well-dispersed (diameter, 1-10 μm) with encapsulation >99% varying payload were synthesized. Accelerated thermal tests proved that reduced cinmethylin evaporation by up 90%, over nonencapsulated crucially, profiles comparable conventional polyurea prepared industrially. rate increased payload, indicating barrier properties tunable, making them adaptable variety active ingredients.
