Mycotoxin contamination is a universal agricultural problem and critical health issue. Fumonisin B1 (FB1) one of the most toxic extensive fumonisins that exist in various agro-products foods. Lycopene (LYC), as natural carotenoid, becoming increasingly favored owing to its oxidation resistance. Here, we aim explore mechanism FB1-induced hepatotoxicity antagonism LYC. In this study, our findings indicated FB1 induced mitochondrial structure damage loss function chicken hepatocytes. Furthermore, upregulated expression PANoptosis-related signal molecules. also reduced levels SIRT1 Ac-FOXO1 protein expression, which then inhibited mitophagy. However, LYC relieved these alterations. Most importantly, knockdown protective effects PANoptosis. Our study provides evidence for role mycotoxin-induced hepatocyte injury points potential target liver protection.

Abstract The gut microbiota plays a critical role in maintaining human health, influencing wide range of physiological processes, including immune regulation, metabolism, and neurological function. Recent studies have shown that imbalances composition can contribute to the onset progression various diseases, such as metabolic disorders (e.g., obesity diabetes) neurodegenerative conditions Alzheimer's Parkinson's). These are often accompanied by chronic inflammation dysregulated responses, which closely linked specific forms cell death, pyroptosis ferroptosis. Pathogenic bacteria trigger these death pathways through toxin release, while probiotics been found mitigate effects modulating responses. Despite insights, precise mechanisms influences diseases remain insufficiently understood. This review consolidates recent findings on impact immune‐mediated inflammation‐associated conditions. It also identifies gaps current research explores potential advanced technologies, organ‐on‐chip models microbiome–gut–organ axis, for deepening our understanding. Emerging tools, single‐bacterium omics spatial metabolomics, discussed their promise elucidating microbiota's disease development.

Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) has become a serious public health problem, posing an increasingly dangerous threat to human owing its increasing prevalence and accompanying intra- extrahepatic adverse outcomes. Rifaximin is considered have therapeutic potential for MASH; however, efficacy remains controversial. Our study aimed observe the ameliorative effects of rifaximin explore possible mechanisms at cellular level. 1. 42 male C57BL/6J mice were divided into 3 groups, CON group MCD fed with normal feed 12 weeks respectively, + RFX was treated by gavage 4 on basis feed. Hematoxylin-eosin staining, Sirius red staining immunohistochemical used histopathological changes liver intestine. Differences in transaminases, inflammatory factors, fibrosis indexes intestinal tight junction proteins compared among groups mice. 2. A MASH cell model constructed inducing HepG2 cells free fatty acids vitro. In addition, TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway explored applying TLR4 agonist LPS inhibitor TAK-242. Hepatic histopathology significantly improved after treatment, their serum alanine aminotransferase aspartate levels (72.72 ± 5.68) U/L (222.8 11.22) U/L, which lower than those [(293.3 10.69) (414.1 36.29) P < 0.05], factors indicators reduced. ameliorated barrier injury increased expression protein ZO-1 mice, concentration LPS-binding (4.92 0.55 vs. 15.82 1.71, 0.05) that group. NASH model, similarly exerted inhibitory pathway. Application inhibitors weakened effect MASH. supports as treatment MASH, related improving integrity downregulating

The gut microbiota (GM) is a highly dynamic ecology whose density and composition can be influenced by wide range of internal external factors. Thus, "How do GM, which have commensal, pathological, mutualistic relationships with us, affect human health?" has become the most popular research issue in recent years. Numerous studies demonstrated that trillions microorganisms inhabit body alter host physiology variety systems, such as metabolism, immunology, cardiovascular health, neurons. GM may role development number clinical disorders producing bioactive peptides, including neurotransmitters, short-chain fatty acids, branched-chain amino intestinal hormones, secondary bile acid conversion. These peptides enter portal circulatory system through gut-liver axis play chronic liver diseases, cirrhosis, hepatic encephalopathy. This procedure still unclear quite complex. In this study, we aim to discuss contribution its effects on progression existing disease, address basic mechanisms microbiota-liver light publications inspire future.

Egg yolk phospholipids are primarily composed of various fatty acids, lysophosphatidylcholine and lysophosphatidylethanolamine. Existing studies have revealed the neuroprotective activity egg phospholipids. However, it is not clear which digestion products exert activity. The objective this study was to investigate effects different structural components in based on a DMNQ-induced oxidative damage HT22 cells. findings demonstrated that pre-treatment with diverse phospholipid components, particularly polyunsaturated markedly elevated cell viability superoxide dismutase activity, diminished ROS generation, reduced malondialdehyde levels mitochondrial membrane potential. Furthermore, RNA-Seq analysis unsaturated acids its by upregulating genes involved proliferation (Jag2 Ypel3), nervous system development (Ntf5), DNA repair (H2ax), other related processes. These provide theoretical basis for future characteristic structure profound effects.

1. This study investigated the effect of Erycibe obtusifolia Benth (EOB) plant residue on welfare, stress-related gene expression as well microorganisms both gut and bedding materials chickens.2. In this study, a total 160, bearded chickens aged 80 d old were raised four types: EOB, rice husk (RH), EOB RH (EOB E) plus Enterococcus faecalis fermented (RHEOB). Twelve behaviours, foot pad dermatitis feather condition each group observed, caecal contents material collected for detection brain tissues related to fear, stress aggressive behaviour.3. Bedding had no (FPD), or abnormal behaviour. Sand bathing (p <0.05) affinity behaviour increased in birds with material. The expressions 5-HT, HTR1A CRH genes tissue affected by different types. mixture reduced relative abundance Brevibacterium, Streptococcus spp. probiotics Rombutz, Lactobacillus L. mucosus improved microflora contents.4. showed good application, mixed best effect.
