The chemistry of atmospheric precipitation serves as an important proxy for discriminating the source(s) air contaminants in urban environments well to discuss dynamic exchanges. This approach can be undertaken at time scales varying from single events seasonal and yearly frames. Here, we characterized chemical composition two rain episodes (18 July 2018 21 February 2019) collected Wrocław (SW Poland). Our results demonstrated inner variations seasonality (within event between summer winter), both ion concentrations their potential relations with local scavenging processes. Coupling statistical analysis parameters meteorological/synoptic conditions HYSPLIT back trajectories allowed us identify three main factors (i.e., principal components; PC) controlling precipitation, that these fluctuated during each event: (i) PC1 (40%) was interpreted reflecting long-range transport and/or anthropogenic influences emission sources included biomass burning, fossil fuel combustion, industrial processes, inputs crustal origin; (ii) PC2 (20%) represents dissolution CO2 HF into ionic forms; (iii) PC3 originates agricultural activities burning. Time showed factor more start event. study SO42− Ca2+ while sea spray events, overall impact relatively low. Finally, below-cloud particle processes were only observed PM10 winter episode, which probably explained by corresponding low intensity overlap aerosol emissions. demonstrates importance multi-time scale approaches explain variability rainwater its relation atmosphere operating

Soil pH is crucial to soil health, influencing nutrient availability, microbial activity, and plant growth. This review aims assess the adaptability of under changing conditions by analyzing natural human factors. Information was gathered from various sources, including peer-reviewed articles, field studies, recent advances in science. The study explores how factors such as parent material, climate, vegetation establish baseline pH, while activities intensive farming land-use changes further modify it, often leading acidification or alkalinization. Traditional management methods like lime application, organic amendments, crop rotation are reviewed for their effectiveness stabilizing limitations varying conditions. also modern technological innovations precision agriculture, which uses sensors variable rate technology targeted management, biological approaches, inoculants, enhance cycling matter decomposition. Integrating these traditional contemporary approaches essential sustainable long-term productivity. findings highlight need a holistic approach that combines historical knowledge with emerging technologies promote agricultural practices environmental conservation.
