Nighttime light remote sensing provides a unique perspective on monitoring human activities and socioeconomic conditions. However, early studies nighttime lighting usually neglected the evaluation of source detection luminance conditions in underdeveloped areas. Recent have identified significant underestimation effect areas, which makes it difficult to use as valid proxy for other variables. To address this problem, paper proposes method based reconstruction. Missing luminous pixels will be using rich information provided by daily-scale data blooming patterns, diverse ancillary utilized regression reconstruction values supplement annual correct effect. The effectiveness was verified from 7,776 townships areas China. results demonstrated that proposed corrected NPP/VIIRS improved accuracy 23.23% 17.71% at village township scales, respectively. correlations between night variables were also improved. Spearman's rank correlation coefficients population, GDP, electricity consumption county scale increased 0.045, 0.020, 0.018, agriculture-related different degrees both scales. can contribute improving modeling correcting This provide better support sustainable development studies.

Increase in urban flood hazards has become a major threat to cities, causing considerable losses of life and the economy. To improve pre-disaster strategies mitigate potential losses, it is important make susceptibility assessments carry out spatiotemporal analyses. In this study, we used standard deviation ellipse (SDE) analyze spatial pattern floods find area interest (AOI) based upon related social media data that were collected Chengdu city, China. We as response variable selected 10 flood-influencing factors independent variables. estimated model using Naïve Bayes (NB) method. The results show events are concentrated northeast-central part especially around city center. Results checked by Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve, showing under curve (AUC) was equal 0.8299. This validation result confirmed can predict with satisfactory accuracy. map center provides realistic reference for monitoring early warning.

The digital economy has become an important driver of resilient growth in tourism economy. Taking China as the research object, it is found that not only a positive spatial spillover effect on economic resilience but also mitigates negative impact COVID-19 pandemic. heterogeneity test shows diffusion eastern, western, and southern regions siphoning non-pilot areas National Smart Tourism Pilot Policy. result influence mechanism proves can contribute to by stimulating fiscal expenditure, guiding industry cluster, increasing consumption. findings study have policy implications for other countries around world using promote sustainable development.

Ecological welfare performance (EWP) is an important indicator for assessing the sustainable development potential of area. Despite progress made in understanding EWP Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB), there still needs to be a research gap studying its spatial variability depth, which more critical improving region and promoting dynamic management urban ecological This study addresses this by focusing on YREB. Our investigation not only aims measure YREB but also delves into analyzing distribution characteristics modeling variability. Motivated necessity comprehend status YREB, our contributes resource informs decisions development. Results found: (1) has improved 16.81%, exhibiting southwest northeast with downstream gravitational movement. (2) A gradual reduction scope accompanied increased dependence resulting structural variation. Geographically, displays polar core banding distribution, high-value areas converging upstream cities (3) The semi-variance function fits model better, showing that dominated broaden focus characterization offers valuable insights resources perspective enhancement adds crucial dimension understanding, providing practical lessons effective management.
