Smart city construction aims to promote the digital transformation of cities, support modernization urban governance, and stimulate innovation development. In this paper, we analyze role smart on economic growth impact mechanism driving this. terms theoretical analysis, discuss in based Schumpeterian theory. empirical evaluate with panel data Chinese prefecture-level cities from 2011 2019, using time-varying difference-in-differences models event study method. The findings research indicate that has a positive effect regional results can be confirmed through series robustness tests. generates mediating effects by enhancing capability entrepreneurship, thereby promoting growth. Furthermore, exhibits heterogeneous due variations degree marketization. regions higher level marketization, promotional is stronger. Consequently, it imperative intensify implementation persistently pursue market-oriented reforms.

Information and communication technology is changing the manner in which urban policies are designed. Saudi Arabia bases its smart initiative on use of information technologies six dimensions, including economy, people, environment, living, mobility, governance to improve quality life sustainable environment. This study draws four Arabian cities Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, Medina, aims analyze their progress transformation into cities. The identified areas were assessed using 57 indicators based national international literature. results show that progressing successfully cities, with highest evident for economy lowest mobility all investigated Study findings Riyadh has made most city concluding been efficiently executing an aim be a unique model world.

Nowadays, the use of drones as a fundamental element smart cities has attracted attention many researchers to monitor and control traffic vehicles. Because high flexibility multi-drone systems, like flying ad hoc networks (FANETs), they provide various services improve modern life in cities. However, due unique features FANET, especially speed rapid changes network topology, communication reliability is serious challenge this network. Hence, traditional routing protocols, such optimized link state (OLSR) scheme, cannot work well these networks. In paper, filtering-based adaptive (SFA-OLSR) scheme proposed FANETs. To increase adaptability FANET environment, SFA-OLSR provides new solution adjust hello broadcast period so that each node specifies its based on scale called cosine similarity between real predicted positions. Furthermore, SFA-OLSR, develops filtering algorithm two parameters, namely lifetime remaining energy. The purpose reduce size single-hop neighboring set minimize search space when finding multi-point relays (MPRs). This increases convergence algorithm. Then, exploits sparrow (SSA) single out best MPRs. introduces multi-objective function by focusing three components, including energy, lifespan, neighbor degree. Lastly, simulation process performed NS3 simulator. evaluates performance method schemes, Gangopadhyay et al., P-OLSR, OLSR-ETX. These evaluations show good terms scales, packet delivery ratio, delay, throughput, but overhead more than other methods.
