Numerous studies have explored influencing factors in COVID-19, yet empirical evidence on spatiotemporal dynamics of COVID-19 inequalities concerning both socioeconomic and environmental at an intra-urban scale is lacking. This study, therefore, focuses neighborhood-level spatial the incidences relation to for Berlin-Neukölln, Germany, covering six pandemic periods (March 2020 December 2021). Spatial Bayesian negative binomial mixed-effect models were employed identify risk patterns different periods. We identified that (1) relative risks varied across time space, with sociodemographic exerting a stronger influence over features; (2) as most predictors, population migrant backgrounds was positively associated, 65 negatively associated incidence; (3) certain neighborhoods consistently faced elevated incidence. study highlights potential structural health within communities, lower status higher incidence diverse Our findings indicate locally tailored interventions citizens are essential address foster more sustainable urban environment.

ABSTRACT Sustainable cities are essential drivers of global social progress, but the effectiveness smart city (SC) initiatives in fostering inclusive green growth (IGG) remains uncertain. This study assesses impact SC on IGG using data from 281 Chinese prefecture‐level 2007 to 2020. We explore both theoretical and empirical dimensions, focusing mechanisms through which pilot policies influence IGG. By treating varied implementation pilots as exogenous shocks a difference‐in‐difference (DID) framework combined with machine learning algorithms, we find significant increase that adopted compared those did not. Our results highlight critical role advancing IGG, robust after rigorous robustness checks. The positive effects primarily driven by three key pathways: enhancing financial inclusion, promoting industrial upgrading, stimulating innovation. Notably, is more pronounced economically developed regions, particularly eastern part China larger cities. However, contribution less smaller areas weaker economic dynamism, central western regions. underscores importance offers new insights into relationship between informatization sustainable development.

After three years of COVID-19 lockdown and restrictions, mobility seems to have returned normality. However, the pandemic has left changes in patterns Madrid Region produced by new trends emerging from COVID-19. This paper analyzes these changes, focusing on impacts public transport use, effects telematic activities influence home relocation. The basis analysis is a survey conducted November December 2022, with more than 15,000 valid responses. results show that lost 6% trips. These trips different transfer rates depending their geographic location. In City Center, majority transferred active modes. car attracted most Metropolitan Ring. are partly consequence increase activities. Teleworking increased 20% caused per week trip purpose. addition, teleworking 18% relocations peripheral zones region. investigates through statistical which sociodemographic spatial factors explain differences throughout Region.
