Ensuring the spatial equity of health service facilities (HSFs) is crucial for well-being residents. However, previous research has predominantly focused on accessibility and single-type facilities, neglecting residents’ demand diversified types services. This study proposes a multi-type, Gaussian-based, two-step floating catchment area method (MT-G2SFCA) to assess comprehensive multi-type HSFs in different age groups Hedong District Tianjin, with Gini coefficient bivariate local Moran’s I. Furthermore, key factors affecting were explored through geo-detector. The results indicate following: (1) Neglecting benefits facility type diversity can result an underestimation equity; (2) differences walking ability elderly overestimation (3) Pedestrian Route Directness factor high-density urban areas, especially that density elderly. emphasizes impact HSFs, which offer more precise holistic technical assistance policy recommendations optimizing allocation HSFs.

Abstract Background Internet Medical Services (IMS) hold substantial potential to address healthcare challenges arising from demographic shifts, such as aging populations, and the evolving disease spectrum, marked by rising prevalence of chronic conditions. However, their practical impact has yet fully meet these expectations. This study seeks investigate factors influencing adoption utilization IMS among patients, focusing on effects across specific domains acceptance processes, provide a fresh perspective enhancing management. Methods We extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills (IMB) framework, incorporating eHealth literacy, patient activation, demographics (age, education duration, income level). A cross-sectional survey 520 patients in Jinan, China, was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) matrix analysis evaluate patterns factors. Results Information showed high minimal disparities, while Diagnose exhibited low uptake significant gaps, particularly older, less-educated, rural, multimorbid patients. Notably, higher-income displayed lower all categories, expected enhance adoption, unexpectedly hindered use. SEM confirmed Perceived Usefulness duration positive drivers stages, literacy boosting Adoption, age exerting negative effect. Conclusions trailblazing model elucidates complexities, revealing counterintuitive barriers like activation. It underscores need for targeted interventions service quality, providing robust framework optimizing deployment advancing digital health strategies care.

ABSTRACT Equitable access to primary healthcare services can considerably improve citizens' health and well‐being. However, most location–allocation models emphasize efficiency, such as minimizing total travel cost maximizing demand coverage while overlooking spatial equality. Therefore, this study addresses the issue of equality planning for facilities by proposing a new framework evaluation, optimization, validation. Using county‐level city Changyuan in China case study, researchers adopted an optimal supply–demand allocation model assess accessibility facilities. Moreover, examines capacitated minimum distance envy location problem (CMDELP) recognize locations The results showed that people prefer use electric bicycles their mode transportation, with 74.95% reaching nearest facility within 15 min under bicycle scenario. Gini coefficient was 0.454. By incorporating newly proposed facilities, whose were determined using p‐median (PMP) model, (CPMP) CMDELP models, additional scenario could potentially increase 17.47%, 15.00%, 18.39%, respectively, decreases 0.325, 0.332, 0.277, respectively. solution optimizing layout public service has potential be useful tool improving at county level.

With the intensification of aging, imbalance between supply and demand elderly care services has become increasingly prominent. Taking Changsha as a case study, this research constructs an accessibility evaluation system based on 15-min life circle theory, utilizing multi-source data. Spatial weighting characteristics facility locations were analyzed through machine learning algorithms, service coverage disparities urban districts suburban towns assessed under 5-, 10-, walking thresholds. Street view semantic segmentation technology was employed to extract street environmental elements in central areas, multiple regression model established elucidate impact mechanisms built environment accessibility. Key findings include: (1) Significant urban-rural exist, with 91.4% core facilities offering seven categories within catchments compared 26.86% township demonstrating infrastructure’s heavy reliance administrative resource allocation. (2) factors exhibit significant correlations scores. At threshold, building space ratio transportation infrastructure positively influenced convenience, while sky showed negative correlation. (3) A random forest-based location prediction framework identified gaps existing facilities. Suburban deficiencies (e.g., 59.8% medical walkable catchments) emerge critical equity barriers, prompting recommendations for integrated “micro-clinic + smart pharmacy” networks prioritized mixed-use zoning new planning. This advances data-driven reconciling urbanization-aging conflicts, practical insights developing nations creating age-friendly environments.

Accurately assessing the accessibility and equity of urban public sports facilities is essential for improving service provision enhancing residents’ well-being. However, most existing studies rely on administrative units such as subdistricts communities, often overlooking multi-level structure failing to reflect their distribution within spatial scope daily activities. To address this gap, study adopted residential neighborhood basic unit analysis developed an integrated methodological framework combining average nearest neighbor index, kernel density estimation, a Gaussian-based two-step floating catchment area method, Gini coefficient, location quotient analysis. When applied Shanghai, revealed distinct patterns across facility levels, exhibiting scale-dependent characteristics. Community-level residential-level were found be relatively accessible, whereas city-level subdistrict-level showed limited accessibility, particularly in peripheral suburbs. All levels exhibited varying degrees inequality, highlighting persistent issues justice. These findings provide empirical evidence inform optimization promote more equitable access services.

Urban park green spaces (UPGS) are essential resources for improving the urban ecological environment and meeting residents’ recreational needs. However, during rapid urbanization, layout of UPGS often exhibits spatial inequity, with significant differences in enjoyed by resident groups different socioeconomic attributes. Accurately assessing equity (the equal accessibility UPGS) is crucial optimizing resource allocation promoting social equity.
