Background:
Curcuminoids,
the
bioactive
compounds
found
in
turmeric,
exhibit
potent
antioxidant,
anti-inflammatory,
and
neuroprotective
properties.
This
study
aims
to
enhance
extraction
of
curcuminoids
from
turmeric
using
environmentally
friendly
solvents
supercritical
CO2
(scCO2)
combined
with
natural
deep
eutectic
(NADESs)
one
process,
evaluate
resulting
biological
activity.
Methods:
A
Box–Behnken
statistical
design
was
applied
optimize
scCO2
conditions—pressure,
volume,
temperature—to
maximize
curcuminoid
yield.
Next,
menthol
lactic
acid
NADESs
were
selected,
these
two
into
a
single
process.
The

ABSTRACT
Honeysuckle,
a
traditional
Chinese
medicine,
holds
significant
medicinal
value,
making
it
ubiquitous
in
the
medical
field.
However,
efficient
extraction
of
chlorogenic
acid
from
herbal
medicine
while
maintaining
its
pharmacological
activity
remains
pressing
challenge.
To
address
issues
environmental
pollution
and
inefficient
using
solvents,
there
is
need
to
develop
novel
solvent.
Due
their
low
cost,
nontoxic,
environmentally
friendly
characteristics,
deep
eutectic
solvents
can
be
used
for
extracting
materials
preserving
active
ingredients
during
process.
In
this
study,
we
examined
antibacterial
acid,
key
component
honeysuckle,
after

gained
preliminary
insights
into
extract
against
various
bacteria,
including
Escherichia
coli
,
Staphylococcus
aureus
Pseudomonas
aeruginosa
.
