This research aims to understand the impact of knowledge management and human resource on innovation in textile industry companies central-western Mexico. is a qualitative, descriptive, correlational study with non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample simply random made up 386 industry. A structured questionnaire was applied using Likert-type scale five ranges. information analysis used Structural Equation Model (SEMPLS). ABSTRACT Understanding the interplay between technology adoption (TA) and human skills is crucial for researchers, practitioners, policymakers. However, firm‐level evidence on patterns of adopting TA their relationship with limited. This study addresses this gap by analyzing an extensive dataset spanning from 2007 to December 2024. Through a comprehensive literature review empirical analysis, research identifies key factors influencing adoption, barriers impact productivity efficiency, competitive advantage, economic growth, environmental impact, transfer mechanisms, capacity building, role international organizations outcomes associated TA. Purpose This comprehensive review study aims to analyze the current state of technology adoption (TA) within textile industry, with a particular focus on economic, environmental, and social dimensions. Design/methodology/approach Twenty-four articles from Scopus database, spanning January 2015 March 2024, were meticulously selected for analysis. The uses qualitative approach, synthesizing diverse perspectives provide holistic understanding TA in sector. Findings highlights noticeable lag new technologies, particularly developing nations like India, industry. Despite significant technological advancements, there remains gap between innovation implementation. Sustainable approaches mitigate environmental impacts emerge as key focus, underscoring need operational enhancements policy interventions. Research limitations/implications study’s reliance SCOPUS database presents limitation, potentially overlooking relevant research other sources.
