ABSTRACT
Understanding
the
interplay
between
technology
adoption
(TA)
and
human
skills
is
crucial
for
researchers,
practitioners,
policymakers.
However,
firm‐level
evidence
on
patterns
of
adopting
TA
their
relationship
with
limited.
This
study
addresses
this
gap
by
analyzing
an
extensive
dataset
spanning
from
2007
to
December
2024.
Through
a
comprehensive
literature
review
empirical
analysis,
research
identifies
key
factors
influencing
adoption,
barriers
impact
productivity
efficiency,
competitive
advantage,
economic
growth,
environmental
impact,
transfer
mechanisms,
capacity
building,
role
international
organizations
outcomes
associated
TA.
Smaller
firms,
however,
face
challenges
in
implementing
upskilling
strategies
similar
those
larger
firms.
