Fast and efficient detection of harmful gases is especially significant for living environments public health. The combination two kinds two-dimensional materials with different properties morphologies can improve the carrier transmission rate, synergistic effect between them effectively sensing performances. In this study, flower-like SnSe2 WS2 nanosheets were prepared, performance WS2/SnSe2 nanostructures NO2 was investigated. (1:1 volume ratio) composite material characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), diffraction (XRD), results are described in detail. sensor has a shorter response/recovery time (15/14 s) high response toward NO2. Besides, exhibits excellent linearity great selectivity. addition, we also carried out density functional theory simulations to theoretically analyze prove possible sensitivity mechanism sensor. It revealed that adsorption capacity enhanced after doping. be attributed microflower morphology p–n heterojunction. huge application prospects detection.
