Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), which is a member of Micrococcacease family, one the most dangerous disease-causing bacteria. S. also biggest factor causing hospital-acquired infections worldwide, as well life-threatening such meningitis, septicaemia, and suppurating wounds in human body. Today, there have been various phenotypic and/or genotypic methods for detection both methicillin-resistant (MRSA) strains. Although commonly used certain rapid results, they are quite expensive rarely available all hospitals; need costly complicated devices expert use. To address these issues, researchers recently developed nanomaterials (NMs) organic molecules-based rapid, sensitive, economical MRSA. We focus on evaluating colorimetric assays using NMs pH indicator-containing tests cost-effective MRSA, specifically target their application clinical environmental contexts.
