Abstract Global industrialization and excessive dependence on nonrenewable energy sources have led to an increase in solid waste climate change, calling for strategies implement a circular economy all sectors reduce carbon emissions by 45% 2030, achieve neutrality 2050. Here we review with focus management, energy, air water quality, land use, industry, food production, life cycle assessment, cost-effective routes. We observed that increasing the use of bio-based materials is challenge terms cover. Carbon removal technologies are actually prohibitively expensive, ranging from 100 1200 dollars per ton dioxide. Politically, only few companies worldwide set change goals. While can be implemented various such as waste, buildings, transportation, assessment required optimize new systems. Overall, provide theoretical foundation sustainable industrial, agricultural, commercial future constructing routes economy.

The building industry is responsible for considerable environmental impacts due to its consumption of resources and energy, the production wastes. Circular Economy (CE), a new paradigm can significantly improve sustainability this sector. This paper performs quantitative scientific evolution analysis application CE in sector detect trends highlight evolvement research topic. Around 7000 documents published 2005 2020 at Web Science Scopus were collected analyzed. bibliometric indicators, network citation, multivariate statistical obtained using Bibliometrix R-package VOSviewer. co-occurrence showed five keyword-clusters, which three main ones are: (i) energy efficiency buildings; (ii) recycling, waste management alternative construction materials; (iii) sustainable development. that researchers pay close attention "sustainability", "energy efficiency", "life cycle assessment", "renewable energy", "recycling" past years. highlights development use circular business models; smart cities, Industry 4.0 their relations with CE, are current hotspots may be considered as potential future topics.

Close and novel forms of collaboration among supply chain stakeholders within beyond industry boundaries are essential for implementing a circular economy. Industry 4.0 technologies, as recognised enablers systems, can support such collaboration. This study explores the intersection economy, collaboration, 4.0. First, we derive an analytical framework that contextualises Second, based on this framework, conduct systematic literature review how technologies enable mechanisms. The shows information sharing joint planning decision-making most common mechanisms studied. Simultaneously, Internet Things, Blockchain, Cloud Systems discussed to those prominent sample patterns synthesised into three archetypes 4.0-enabled Furthermore, derives nine promising questions future research along six main dimensions: Digital Twins Artificial Intelligence, knowledge creation innovation, in product design planning, systemic across boundaries, contextualisation with barriers chains, transferability applications industries.

Today, blockchain is becoming more popular in academia and industry because it a distributed, decentralised technology which changing many industries terms of security, building trust, etc. A few applications are banking, insurance, logistics, transportation, Many insurance companies have been thinking about how could help them be efficient. There still lot hype this immutable technology, even though has not utilised to its full potential. Insurers decide whether or use blockchain, just like other businesses do. This keeps distributed ledger on each node, making secure transparent. The network can operate smart contracts convince others agree, so criminals cannot make mistakes. On another side, the Internet Things (IoT) might real-time application work faster through automation. With integration IoT, there will always problem with regarding IoT devices mining blockchain. paper gives view blockchain-IoT-based for Industry 4.0 Society 5.0. last sections discuss essential topics such as open issues, challenges, research opportunities future researchers expand applications.
