Endometriosis is a prevalent chronic gynaecological disorder, but its cause still unclear, and both genetic environmental factors may contribute disease aetiology. Prominent amongst the latter vitamin D which can be obtained either by action of sunlight on skin or from dietary sources. Serum levels main circulating form D, 25-hydroxvitamin (25(OH)D), have been reported to inversely correlated with endometriosis, suggesting that D-deficiency risk factor for disease. Crucially, active 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin (1,25(OH)

Despite their subordination in humans, to a great extent, mitochondria maintain independent status but tightly cooperate with the "host" on protecting joint life quality and minimizing health risks. Under oxidative stress conditions, healthy promptly increase mitophagy level remove damaged "fellows" rejuvenating mitochondrial population sending fragments of mtDNA as SOS signals all systems human body. As long metabolic pathways are under systemic control well-concerted together, adaptive mechanisms become triggered increasing protection, activating antioxidant defense repair machinery. Contextually, attributes patho-/physiology instrumental for predictive medical approach cost-effective treatments tailored individualized patient profiles primary (to protect vulnerable individuals again health-to-disease transition) secondary affected disease progression) care. Nutraceuticals naturally occurring bioactive compounds demonstrating health-promoting, illness-preventing, other health-related benefits. Keeping mind health-promoting properties nutraceuticals along therapeutic potential safety profile, there is permanently growing demand application mitochondria-relevant nutraceuticals. Application beneficial only if meeting needs at individual level. Therefore, risk assessment creation pivotal importance followed by adapted nutraceutical sets needs. The analysis of literature revealed the peculiarities vitamin D metabolism in diabetic kidney damage, as well its role development renal, metabolic changes, including bone and mineral disorders. Vitamin D, due to influence on various physiological processes through receptors, plays a key regulation metabolism, functioning immune system control other extraskeletal effects. In patients with deficiency causes impaired hydroxylation formation an active metabolite (1,25(OH)2D3), which leads progression proteinuria fibrosis. mechanisms glucose interaction at level proximal tubules were analyzed, emphasizes need for further research develop therapeutic strategies correcting damage order improve their prognosis.

Vitamin D is increasingly recognized for its role in cardiovascular health beyond well-established effects on bone metabolism. This review synthesizes findings from observational studies, interventional trials, and meta-analyses to clarify the mechanisms through which vitamin impacts health, including influence vascular function, inflammation, metabolic pathways. Additionally, this emphasizes importance of a personalized approach supplementation, integrating individual risk profiles, baseline levels, comorbid conditions, such as hypertension diabetes. While current evidence supports association between low levels increased mortality, work contributes novel insights by proposing tailored strategies particularly high-risk subgroups. Practical recommendations implementing these clinical practice are also discussed, providing framework optimizing outcomes individualized management.

Porcine models are increasingly recognized for their similarities to humans and have been utilized in disease modeling organ grafting research. While extensive metabolomics studies conducted swine, primarily focusing on conventional cohorts or specific animal models, the composition functions of fecal metabolites pigs across different age groups-particularly elderly-remain inadequately understood. In this study, an untargeted approach was employed analyze metabolomes at three distinct stages: young (one year), middle-aged (four years), elderly (eight years). The objective elucidate age-associated changes metabolite functionality under standardized rearing conditions. metabolomic analysis revealed a diverse array age-related metabolites. Notably, L-methionine sulfoxide levels were found increase with age, whereas cytidine-5-monophosphate exhibited gradual decline throughout aging process. These demonstrated alterations various biological pathways, including energy metabolism, pyrimidine lipid amino acid metabolism. Collectively, identified key metabolites, such as Cholecalciferol, may serve potential biomarkers senescence, providing valuable insights into mechanistic understanding pigs.
