A perovskite catalyst combined with various advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) to treat organic wastewater attracted extensive attention. The physical and chemical catalytic properties of were largely related oxygen vacancies (OVs). In this paper, the recent advances in regulation OVs for enhancing functionality was reviewed, such as substitution, doping, heat treatment, wet-chemical redox reaction, exsolution, etching. techniques detecting also reviewed. An insight provided into reduction mechanism AOPs review, which is helpful reader better understand methods regulating AOPs.
