The recent geopolitical events, such as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, have strained available resources worldwide. In emerging economies like Bangladesh, which is heavily reliant on imported gas, oil, coal, this has created a severe energy crisis. response to crisis support eco-friendly waste management, converting into being recognized promising solution. However, introducing waste-to-energy systems in developing faces many intricate challenges that require careful examination. This study, therefore, aims explore evaluate associated with adopting (WtE) conversion system Bangladesh. research methodology involves identifying from an extensive review of existing literature expert feedback then combining Bayesian theory Best Worst Method (BWM) challenges. The future of energy security has become a prominent concern for emerging economies due to the inevitable depletion fossil fuels and ongoing disruptions in their supply. crippling effect complete dependence on expensive fuel imports is magnified by ineffective policy response enduring crisis, impeding progress across various sectors thwarting efforts meet demands population growth industrialization amid acute electricity shortages. Amidst economic economy, Bangladesh, wind emerges as transformative solution effectively tackle mounting challenges demand, environmental pollution, greenhouse gas emissions, depleting reserves fuels. Therefore, this study utilizes an integrated multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach combining inter-valued type 2 intuitionistic fuzzy (IVT2IF) theory with trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method aiming identify, prioritize, investigate relationships among factors that impact sustainable adoption economy like Bangladesh. Initially, were derived from reviewing existing literature. After subsequent expert validation, sixteen selected analysis using IVT2IF DEMATEL method. findings indicate "Fossil supply disruption," "Stable financial investment resource mobilization," "Geographical region" are most significant influencing national grid support prominence value 4.415, 4.406 4.339 respectively. The emerging technologies of Industry 4.0 (I4.0) are crucial to incorporating agility, sustainability, smartness, and competitiveness in the business model, enabling long-term sustainability practices pharmaceutical supply chain (PSC). Fire risks pose a substantial threat to the apparel manufacturing industry since they can lead immense property damage, potential loss of life, disruption business operations, and reputational damage. In an emerging economy like Bangladesh, fire-related hazards are crucial due numerous deadly industrial fire incidents in recent years. This research, thereby, proposes integrated multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) framework identify mitigate risk industry. Initially, study identified 30 significant factors from literature review. Then, after expert validation, Best Worst Method (BWM) Weighted Sum Model (WSM) was utilized prioritize factors. Twenty-three mitigation actions were proposed afterward for top-ranked based on National Protection Association (NFPA) codes. An Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) with Cross-Impact Matrix Multiplication Applied Classification (MICMAC) analysis later used explore interrelationships dependencies among actions. The ranking obtained BWM-WSM assessment revealed 'combustible storage unseparated by fire-rated construction,' 'non-standard inspection, testing, maintenance', 'inadequate means egress occupant load' as three most critical ISM-MICMAC 'fire-rated construction' 'standardized detection protection' most-driving outcomes expected aid managers policymakers economies formulating sustainable management strategies thus improve operational safety resilience sector.
