Chlorophenols (CPs) are widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, insecticides, pharmaceuticals, synthetic dyes and wood preservatives. However, owing to the improper discharge disposal, they have become major contaminants that ubiquitously distributed water, soil, sewage sediments, posing a significant threat ecosystems human health. Consequently, accurate, sensitive effective pretreatment analysis methods for CPs urgently required been actively explored recent years. This review encompasses detection environmental samples from 2010 2024. The primarily include solid-phase extraction, liquid-liquid microextraction, liquid-phase QuEChERS. These evolving towards more environmentally friendly technologies, miniaturization automation of equipment, development innovative materials (including graphene, molecularly imprinted polymers, layered double hydroxides, porous organic carbon), use green solvents like deep eutectic solvents. Detection emphasize liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, gas sensors, capillary electrophoresis. Advances chromatographic columns, novel ion sources, high-resolution mass spectrometry significantly improved performance. In addition, pros cons diverse techniques, critical comments future perspectives elaborated.

In this review, the principles and characteristics of solid-phase extraction (SPE) are discussed. The categories nanomaterial-based adsorbents namely metal/metal oxides, magnetic nanoparticles, silica-based two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials (NMs), polymeric nanotubes, semiconductor NMs, nanoporous materials along with their features discussed followed by evaluating synthetic strategies. Finally, application sorbents for preconcentration drugs, pesticides, heavy metals in biological, food, environmental samples is assessed. Overall, future SPE techniques expected to include advances downsizing, automation, selectivity, sustainability, integration other analytical techniques, resulting more efficient effective sample preparation procedures a variety applications.

In this work, an easy, safe, simple, and efficient pH‐switchable deep eutectic solvents (DESs)‐based liquid phase microextraction followed by high‐performance chromatography‐diode array detector analysis was developed for the determination of 1,3‐dimethylamylamine (DMAA). The switchability obtained DESs investigated changing pH. Then best‐selected DES characterized application selected in extraction DMAA from sports nutrition bodybuilding supplements investigated. synthesized l ‐menthol: oleic acid a molar ratio 1:2 had highest efficiency target compound. Under optimum conditions, (50 µL DES, 100 4 mol/L KOH, HCl, time 40 s without salt addition) calibration graph linear range 0.05–100 µg/kg limit detection 0.02 µg/kg. relative standard deviations including intra‐day inter‐day 10.0 real samples were 2.7% ( n = 7) 5.3% 7), respectively. enrichment factor percentage recovery method 283 85%, recoveries different 90%–109%.
