Abstract This study investigates the impact of financial development, nonrenewable energy, renewable and trade openness on ecological footprint from 1990 to 2020 under new hypothetical imitations economic complexity‐induced environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) framework in BRICS‐T economies. After verifying potential cross‐sectional dependency, this employed second‐generation panel data tests estimate consistent, unbiased, robust results. The key results research discover that influence complexity increases pollution at initial stage; however, second stage such as square significantly reduces it, which indicates confirmation EKC hypothesis these Moreover, development energy consumption increase level footprint. In contrast, curtails all quantiles. provide insight for government policymakers diminish economies through clean technologies diversification, carbon storage capture.

This paper examines business model implementations in three leading European smart cities: London, Amsterdam, and Berlin. Through a systematic literature review comparative analysis, the study identifies analyzes various models employed these urban contexts. The findings reveal diverse array of models, including public–private partnerships, build–operate–transfer arrangements, performance-based contracts, community-centric innovation hubs, revenue-sharing outcome-based financing, asset monetization strategies. Each city leverages unique combination to address its specific challenges priorities. highlights role PPPs large-scale infrastructure projects, BOT arrangements transportation solutions, contracts driving efficiency accountability. It also explores benefits strategies enhancing sustainability, efficiency, livability cities. offers valuable insights for policymakers, planners, researchers seeking advance development worldwide.

Abstract This study investigates the synergistic effects of energy alternatives, financial technology (FinTech), natural resources, and climate action within BRICS nations, with a focus on achieving Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG13), which centers action. The integration system theory panel Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) econometric methods enables deeper exploration how these factors interact to influence outcomes. investigation is significant because countries—representing major emerging economies—are pivotal in global consumption, resource extraction, systems, making them key players transition towards sustainability. Identifying configurational patterns variables their impacts provides critical insights for policymakers aiming balance economic growth environmental findings reveal intricate configurations conditions influencing highlighting significance such as renewable integration, resources abundance. Econometric analyses further underscore negative fossil fuel positive technology, abundance contributes literature by integrating into QCA provide comprehensive understanding dynamics nations.
