Purpose As a little research has been conducted to understand the factors influencing users’ intentions adopt blockchain-based telemedicine (BBT), it is important investigate BBT acceptance as incorporation of blockchain technology can solve telemedicine-related issues. Accordingly, this study aims behavioral (BI) BBT. Design/methodology/approach An integrated model comprising constructs taken from technology–organization–environment framework, model, unified theory and use planned behavior based on their relevance context objectives used for research. A quantitative approach test hypotheses, which data was collected 324 respondents through self-administered questionnaire. Partial least squares structural equation modeling hypotheses. Findings The results show that relative advantage, perceived usefulness, trust ease have significant impact BI BBT, whereas regulatory support, subjective norms facilitating conditions do not any same. Research limitations/implications concept BCT in Pakistan at its nascent stage literature regarding technology’s adoption also limited, researchers scholars apply several other fields Pakistan. For example, be extended explore areas such education, logistics, transportation, finances management. This only considers direct effects does consider mediation moderations constructs. Future influence moderation BCT. Originality/value Although studies exist, there gap concerning current helps bridge. From practical standpoint, makes highly valuable contribution toward understanding projects, leading help policymakers devise policies promote telemedicine.

Background The Malaysian healthcare system is under strain due to an aging population, the rising prevalence of chronic diseases, and heavy workloads among physicians. As costs requirements continue rise, telemedicine critical for bridging gaps in supply demand. However, there are limited studies on adoption Furthermore, existing literature does not contain a comprehensive framework that integrates multidimensional social influence, technological, clinical, individual factors. Objective This research investigates It draws from Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) Kelman's Social Influence Theory. Methods A survey was conducted 230 participants hospitals located Kuala Lumpur Selangor. data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results study identified crucial factors influencing adoption, including informational influences, rewards, perceived ease use, usefulness. Meanwhile, Importance-performance Map Analysis (IPMA) use as most important factor physicians, but highest performance patient’s records. Conclusions proposed integrated model enhances understanding highlights differential effects individual, influence physicians’ perspective. findings can guide future implementation strategies promotion context. Hospitals should prioritize user-friendly technology information provision, while providers enhance accessibility patient records facilitate adoption. Policymakers consider supporting training programs will boost confidence effectively utilizing telemedicine.
