The
development
of
novel
detection
technology

Metal-organic
frameworks
(MOFs)
are
hybrid
materials
composed
of
both
organic
and
inorganic
elements.
MOF
materials,
because
their
unique
structures
properties,
such
as
controllable
pore
size,
large
surface
area,
excellent
catalytic
activity,
high
density
active
sites,
applied
in
electrochemical
sensors
systems
for
the
sensitive,
quick,
low-cost
detection
multiple
analytes.
MOFs,
with
specific
shape,
adjustable
volume,
will
provide
strong
interaction
compounds
via
abundant
functional
groups,
leading
to
increased
selectivity
determination
a
wide
range
compounds.
In
this
review,
structure,
synthesis
methods,
characterization,
applications
MOFs
recent
years
sensing
material
fabricating
detecting
drugs,
pesticides,
heavy
metals,
food
additives,
other
contaminants
summarized,
compared,
discussed.

were

numerous

application

due
