This review aims explore the epidemiology, cardiovascular complications, management strategies associated with CKD, emphasizing importance preventing early intervention. CKD is primarily driven by conditions such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, diseases, which often coexist exacerbate renal impairment. Effective requires multifaceted approach, including lifestyle modifications, pharmacological interventions, regular monitoring. Dietary changes, sodium restriction controlled intake phosphorus potassium, play vital role in preserving function. Pharmacological therapies, particularly angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), emerging agents like SGLT2 have shown efficacy slowing progression improving patient outcomes. Furthermore, patients undergoing dialysis face increased risk, necessitating comprehensive address both cardiac health. As landscape treatment evolves, ongoing research into novel therapeutic options personalized medical approaches are essential. underscores urgent need for awareness, education, effective preventive measures mitigate burden enhance quality life affected individuals.

Abstract Background Polyploidization, a process where cells acquire additional chromosome sets, is unique characteristic of hepatocytes. This has been increasingly recognized as an adaptive mechanism for maintaining liver function during aging, period characterized by cellular senescence, DNA damage, and metabolic dysregulation. Purpose review explores the molecular mechanisms underlying hepatocyte polyploidization its potential role in promoting resilience against aging-related decline function. We assess how polyploid hepatocytes contribute to genomic stability, stress resistance, adaptation, highlighting their relevance aging. Main body Hepatocyte occurs through such cytokinesis failure endoreplication, leading binuclear or mononuclear cells. Polyploid exhibit enhanced repair capacity, which helps mitigate accumulation age-related damage. The increased gene dosage facilitates better responses, particularly oxidative genotoxic insults. Metabolic adaptations, including xenobiotic metabolism lipid regulation, further support liver’s ability maintain homeostasis Additionally, demonstrate altered epigenetic landscapes proteostasis mechanisms, contributing improved reduced susceptibility senescence. These adaptations collectively enhance structural challenges. Conclusion represents critical protective that safeguard instability, dysfunction, stress. Understanding pathways driving could pave way novel therapeutic strategies combat disorders health span. Graphical

With the aging of global population, neurodegenerative diseases are emerging as a major public health issue. The adoption less sedentary lifestyle has been shown to have beneficial effect on cognitive decline, but molecular mechanisms responsible clear. Here we provide detailed analysis complex molecular, cellular, and systemic underlying age-related decline how choices influence these processes. A review evidence from animal models, human studies, postmortem analyses emphasizes importance integrating physical exercise with cognitive, multisensory, motor stimulation part multifaceted approach mitigating decline. We highlight potential non-pharmacological interventions address key hallmarks, such genomic instability, telomere attrition, neuroinflammation, underscore need for comprehensive personalized strategies promote resilience healthy aging.

Abstract Since the 12 major signs of aging were revealed in 2023, people's interpretation will go further, which is great significance for understanding occurrence, development, and intervention process. As one aging, cellular senescence refers to process proliferation differentiation ability cells decrease under stress stimulation or over time, often manifested as changes cell morphology, cycle arrest, decreased metabolic function. Interferon (IFN), a secreted ligand specific surface receptors, can trigger transcription interferon‐stimulated genes (ISGs) play an important role senescence. In addition, IFN serves component SASP, activation signaling pathway has been shown contribute apoptosis It expected delay by linking with studying effects on its mechanism. ABSTRACT The senescence of leafy vegetables is inherent and general after harvest. DNA methylation affects the process plant leaves. Limited studies have explored impact exogenous inhibitors on postharvest mechanisms their effects transcriptome metabolome during storage. In this study, pak choi was immersed in 100 mg L −1 5‐azacytidine (AZ) (an inhibitor methyltransferase) solutions, indicated that AZ yielded significant acceleration leaf senescence. Compared to control group, AZ‐treated exhibited faster weight loss, higher malondialdehyde content, greater color change, chlorophyllase activity. Transcriptomic widely targeted metabolomic analyses were then performed samples. investigation disclosed chlorophyll degradation genes BraSGR2 BraPPH upregulated by AZ, leading more content. effectively stimulated upregulation senescence‐associated ( BraSAG20 , BraSAG21 BraSRG1 BraSRG2 ), thereby accelerating pace process. demonstrated downregulated flavonoid synthase BraFLS1 BraF3H causing a relative decline levels. study also unveiled diminution carbohydrate content storage, further exacerbated AZ. To encapsulate, our preliminary findings suggest application accelerates stored choi, which helps us understand relationship between demethylation vegetable
