The risk of human exposure to micro- and nanoplastics (MNPs) has received increasing attention in recent years. Consumption drinking water is a significant route MNPs. While previous studies focus on MNPs treated wastewater or final effluent, research addressing networks (DWNs) as potential secondary sources remains sparse. However, how DWN, critical component transporting from treatment plants consumers, contributes contamination underexplored existing studies.
