ABSTRACT Spices are substances that can be detected by the sense of smell or taste in their natural state. Currently, research on functional spices with properties such as anti‐tumour, vascularisation, anti‐inflammatory, and antibacterial effects attracts a lot attention. However, comprehensive reviews delivery systems remain limited. Among various carriers used for spice delivery, cyclodextrins widely applied due to unique properties, which feature hydrophobic interior hydrophilic exterior, particularly poorly soluble spices. In this study, representative mechanisms action introduced, then stimulus‐responsive cyclodextrin‐based summarised, applications field discussed. Furthermore, challenges faced future direction proposed promote construction an effective system.

Introducing chiral molecules into metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) to obtain MOFs (CMOFs), the tunability of their structures makes them a highly anticipated class materials for electrochemical sensing. However, structure CMOFs is often limited by synthesis challenges, and introducing leads decrease in internal space. This study introduces defect engineering strategy with defects, which an efficient method. The two constructed different not only have more recognition sites but also greatly increase substrate capacity due making wide range substrates enhancing enantioselective effect defective CMOFs. In addition, using MOF as carrier overcomes problem low conductivity molecules. Based on advantages CMOFs, we designed novel sensor excellent enantiomer performance. provides simple scalable synthetic method constructing defects high stability.

A good chiral separation usually results in a trial-and-error process; however, through systematic studies, certain principles can be established to correlate structure with selectivity. ABSTRACT A novel high‐performance liquid chromatography method for the enantioseparation of mirabegron ( R ‐mirabegron), a selective β‐3 adrenergic receptor agonist, using cyclodextrin (CD)‐based chiral stationary phases (CSPs) was developed. Seven different CSPs containing β‐, γ‐, hydroxypropyl‐β‐, sulfobutyl‐β‐, carboxymethyl‐β‐, permethyl‐β‐, and phenylcarbamate‐β‐cyclodextrin were evaluated under both polar organic reversed‐phase conditions. Only Chiral CD‐Ph column displayed enantiorecognition. Optimization conditions full factorial design led to determination most suitable conditions: mobile phase composition 90:10:0.1 methanol:water:diethylamine, flow rate 0.8 mL/min, temperature 40°C with enantiomeric elution order, where impurity S ‐mirabegron elutes first. Using optimized conditions, s = 1.9 achieved within 10 min. The developed validated according current guidelines successfully applied ‐mirabegron, as in pharmaceutical formulations. enantiorecognition mechanism investigated by molecular docking thermodynamic analysis. modeling, interactions between CDs analyte analyzed at level, revealing that interacts primarily phenylcarbamate groups on outer surface structure. Enthalpy‐controlled consistently observed across all eluent compositions, regardless is highly routine purity mirabegron, offering reliable tool regulatory compliance.
