Plant-derived exosome-like nanoparticles (PELNs) are a type of membranous vesicle isolated from plant tissues. They contain proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and other components. PELNs involved in the defensive response to pathogen attacks by exerting anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antifibrotic, antitumor effects through substances they contain. ABSTRACT Background Cancer is the second leading cause of human mortality worldwide. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) from liquid biopsy samples are used in early cancer detection, characterization, and surveillance. Exosomes a subset EVs produced by all cells present body fluids. They play an important role development because they active transporters capable carrying contents any type cell. The objective this review was to provide brief overview clinical implication exosomes or exosomal components diagnosis prognosis.
