Objectives. Events have been an important research topic in the field of organizations, especially as outbreak COVID-19 has brought challenges to employees and affecting employee behaviour workplace. Based on cognitive activation theory stress, this study explored mechanisms impact event strength safety performance high reliability organizations. Methods. A quantitative design was adopted with data collected from 759 urban rail transit organizational China. Structural equation modelling analysis using Mplus version 7.4 employed test hypotheses. Results. can positively affect organizations through a chain-mediating effect work meaningfulness engagement. Perceived trust moderates relationship between for organization employees. Conclusion. enhancing literature events performance, expanding application stress high-reliability

As a major global public health emergency, the COVID-19 epidemic has had significant impact on development of port operation. Based data from 1 January 20191 2019 to 31 December 202231 2022, this study utilizes spatial autocorrelation and local measure evaluate resistance resilience ports. From outcomes, we find that overall level for ports is relatively low, further have not been effectively restored adjusted, in world generally heterogeneous. In addition, temporary, where significantly improved after end 2021, most recovered positive trend 2022. Meanwhile, correlation response effect epidemic.

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely disrupted travel behavior across diverse socio-economic areas, with a significant impact on transportation systems, public health, and the economy. As countries both recover plan for future virus-driven stresses, it is crucial to identify drivers of building resilience, such as vaccination. Using an integrated dataset over 150 million US county-level mobile device data from 01/01/2020 20/04/2021, we employ Bayesian structural time series (BSTS) models infer relative vaccination intervention five types Metropolitan, Micropolitan Rural areas. Further, develop partial least squares regression (PLSR) accurately estimate how rates, epidemiological indicators (i.e., incidence death testing rates) weather conditions temperature, rain, snow) would various behaviors areas during recovery period pandemic. model results shed light positive role vaccinations in fostering reveal disparities resilience response indicators, Our findings can offer evidential insights policymakers, transport planners, health officials, guiding development equitable, sustainable, resilient systems prepared adapt pandemics.

Producer services are a critical indicator of global cities in advanced economies, whose spatial-temporal dynamics reflect the trajectory urban transformation. However, growth producer China cannot be fully explained by current theories (e.g. neoclassical, institutional, city and human capital theories), especially regarding their development process geographical contexts. This study developed context-sensitive analytical framework to comprehensively examine location Shanghai, city. We used rigorous geospatial methods considered sectoral differences local contexts, institutional factors spatial structure. found that Shanghai were still concentrated centre, but dispersion trend could detected, subcentres emerging suburban areas. Further analysis highlighted service firms’ significant sector various underlying spatiotemporal locational determinants. identified positive effects agglomeration on emergence centres for IT research services. concentration financial real estate needs diversity, had negative impact them. Also, access public transit promoted Our suggests none existing alone can explain servicer firms heterogeneity spatiality should seriously policy future studies.
