Modern challenges such as the liberalization of railway sector and growing demands for sustainability, high-quality services, user satisfaction set new standards in operations. In this context, infrastructure managers (RIMs) play a crucial role ensuring innovative approaches that will strengthen position railways market by enhancing efficiency competitiveness. Evaluating their performance is essential assessing achieved objectives, it conducted through wide range key indicators (KPIs), which encompass various dimensions Monitoring analyzing KPIs are improving service quality, achieving establishing foundation research development strategies sector. This paper provides detailed overview evaluation RIMs. creates framework RIM using scientific methods, from identifying to applying complex analysis methods. A novel hybrid model, integrates fuzzy Delphi method aggregating expert opinions on KPIs’ importance, extended analytic hierarchy process (AHP) determining relative weights these KPIs, ADAM ranking RIMs, has been developed paper. approach enables comparison RIMs performances, providing basis informed decision-making within The results provide insight into current state encourage further efforts improve areas enhancement. main contributions include multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) model. model represents significant step analysis, future area. universal and, such, valuable contribution MCDM theory.

This research investigates freight forwarders' operational risks when entering a new transport market characterized by stochastic demand. A simulation model was developed to represent the service request flow potentially experienced forwarder in market. The proposed incorporates key parameters such as average interval, tariff, and processing time. Based on results, regression predict entry risk. obtained demonstrates that risk increases with longer intervals between requests decreases higher tariffs. findings provide insights for forwarders seeking enter markets. simulation-based approach offers practical tool assessing informing strategic decisions related pricing.

Purpose This paper proposes a multi-criteria group decision-making (MCGDM) method that considers the trust relationships among experts and level of consensus in to help enterprises select suitable low-carbon logistics service providers achieve their sustainable development goals. Design/methodology/approach In this paper, decision information is represented by interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IVIFNs) (TRs) between are expressed using two-tuple linguistic terms. Considering TRs experts, we developed propagation operator supplement incomplete experts. Moreover, constructed model adjust preferences decision-makers. Finally, improved CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation (CRITIC) employed determine weights criteria Measurement Alternatives Ranking according Compromise Solution (MARCOS) used for ranking (LCLSPs). Findings Current research on selection often overlooks two critical aspects: degree within expert group. study addresses these gaps incorporating both factors into framework, thereby significantly improving accuracy outcomes. Furthermore, through comparative analysis, proposed demonstrates enhanced acceptability results, attributable integration consensus-building process. Originality/value The MCGDM constructs an consensus-reaching model, addressing current gap neglects impact providers.

The interval-valued q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets being an extension of intuitionistic and Pythagorean is more flexible model to address vague information that has only two attributes yes or no. combination the concept graph structures with termed graphs been introduced in literature. Due its nature, provides a vast space for membership non-membership values. In this study, we initiate notions covering matching paradigm (IVq-ROFGs) provide analysis air conditioning system (FACS) based on these concepts. Some results theorems related concepts, previously established different graphs, are also extended. beginning, introduce idea IVq-ROFGs investigate several characteristics some special types like cyclic IVq-ROFGs, complete bipartite IVq-ROFGs. Afterwards, discuss various matchings within frame. To demonstrate effectiveness our apply concepts SAs SIS supported by algorithm pseudocode, establish appropriate framework FACS. This assesses relationship between room temperature target temperature. Finally, comparative study conducted verify presented existing models

Integrating the metaverse technology with transportation system has several security and privacy issues. This study assesses 12 solutions to select best one overcome issues (such as data theft, unauthorized access, theft of personal data) when integrating technology. A suggested methodology is conducted by experts decision-makers using linguistic terms spherical fuzzy numbers express their opinions on evaluating criteria alternatives. Selecting solution (alternative) critical because it includes conflict criteria, such authentication, attacks, others. paper introduces a for multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) in (SF) environment. The MCDM method dealt various conflicting SF uncertainty vague information while consists two main phases. first phase analytic hierarchy process (SF-AHP) compute weights. second Weighted Aggregates Sum Product Assessment (SF-WASPAS) rank alternative. results show end-to-end authentication protocol alternative (security solution). sensitivity analysis stability changing criteria’s that solution) different cases. We compare six other methods: SF-TOPSIS, SF-VIKOR, SF-MABAC, SF-CODAS, SF-MARCOS, SF-COPRAS effectiveness proposed method. presented robust compared methods.
