Urban underground space (UUS) development has been acknowledged as a positive contribution to urban resilience (UR). Such qualitatively addressed in recent years, but only quantitatively discussed few studies. Quantitative evaluation methods for UR are widely used China and around the world, role of is barely included. This paper provides way bridge this gap on city scale. A framework was carefully constructed that covers basic aspects elements UR. The contributions UUS were identified integrated into framework, measurement each indicator related determined. case study 19 sample cities conducted using model. Correlation analysis clustering further adopted interpret results, mainly with three indicators reflecting level development, namely area (m2), density (104 m2/km2) per capita (m2/person). results showed strong correlation between average proportion provided by 16.46%, while maximum figure reached 29.20%. clustered four categories based relationship UUS, area, GDP capita, where both high low tend provide less than medium area. Corresponding suggestions utilization proposed assist achieving resilience.

As urban areas experience economic growth and expansion, the development scale intensity of commercial complexes have notably increased. Integrating aboveground underground spaces enhances vitality latter, thereby improving land efficiency. However, these encounter challenges, including disconnections in design, leading to poor continuity suboptimal outcomes. Existing research predominantly discusses individual factors influencing space integration, lacking a comprehensive assessment framework for integrated complex development. This study introduces spatial performance evaluation encompassing four key dimensions: functional spaces, transportation systems, public landscape environments. Representative cases three types – courtyard-style with inward aggregation, outward radiation, inner street-style are selected evaluation. Findings indicate that system exert most significant impact, while environment relatively smaller influence. Considering distinctive characteristics development, we propose prioritizing emphasizing advocating balanced approach Specific optimization directions case studies outlined. The study’s conclusions guide scientific complexes, ultimately enhancing overall

Campus green space, as a component of urban space and the main natural place for college students’ daily contact, has subliminal effect on their mental health. This study aims to investigate degree influence campus emotions well indicators other scientific issues. Taking spaces 44 campuses in Nanjing object study, with help social media data research issue emotional preference, we conducted difference analysis, constructed an individual-time, double fixed-effects regression model obtained corresponding results: (1) significant seasonal individual differences existed all across campuses; (2) positive correlation between each emotions; (3) compared results prior New Crown Pneumonia Outbreak (COVID-19), sensitivity increased substantially during outbreak control period, health benefits were more significant.

Assessing the resilience of road networks in high‐intensity urban development areas is crucial for ensuring sustainable growth face increasing traffic demands. Underground are a key solution to alleviating surface congestion and optimizing spatial utilization. By enhancing shared mobility on surface, these contribute reducing vehicle emissions mitigating environmental pollution. This study explores optimal conditions initiating underground network construction high‐density areas. Using spatiotemporal consumption model, research calculates maximum capacity while considering land use characteristics assess demand. The evaluated through structural indicators that measure their resistance damage overall stability. findings indicate when demand‐to‐capacity ratio ranges from 0.865 0.870, existing becomes inadequate, necessitating alleviate congestion. provides both theoretical guidance practical insights planning networks, along with strategies improve quality.
