Urban blue–green spaces (UBGSs) are a significant avenue for addressing the worldwide mental health crisis. To effectively optimise landscape design and management promotion of benefits from UBGS, it is crucial to objectively understand public preferences. This paper proposes method evaluate preference perspective seeing thinking, takes examples seven parks around Dianchi Lake in Kunming, China, analyses social media data by using natural language processing technology image semantic segmentation technology. The conclusions as follows: (1) exhibits significantly high positive sentiments towards various UBGSs, with over 93% comments expressed sentiments. (2) Differences exist frequency perception features between text modalities. Landscape elements related stability perceived more images than text, while dynamic experiential images. (3) In both modalities, distinctive frequently preferred public. end, intrinsic links sentiment preferences discussed, suggestions improvements made consolidate their

Cities are particularly vulnerable to climate change for their intrinsic characteristics. Imperviousness, heat islands, and pervasive pollution common urban problems that challenge the current status quo in decision-making. As an alternative, Nature-based Solutions (NbS) arose from need tackle environmental issues through multifunctional solutions. Plant biodiversity is at core of NbS, but such solutions constrained by limited knowledge species benefits cities, biodiverse Global South. In this review, we stress potential use morphological characters taxonomic studies as a shortcut assess ecosystem services plant species. Species description identification keys can be translated into support not yet listed cities. Bridging service provision like life form, bark, leaf phenology morphology, reproductive morphology based on comprehensive literature will allow decision-makers widen options promote biodiversity. Building platform requires summarizing plants’ subsequently validating models’ predictive power. Still, approach holds great more resilient enjoyable environments.
