Gualou (Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim) and Xiebai (Allium macrostemon Bunge) have been extensively studied for their diverse active ingredients, which include flavonoids, polysaccharides, triterpenoids. This study employed a single-factor experiment alongside the Plackett-Burman design utilized response surface methodology to optimize ultrasonic-enzyme-assisted extraction (U-EAT) method functional components in (GLXB). The optimal conditions were identified as solid-to-liquid ratio of 1:11 g/mL, an alcohol concentration 55%, enzyme 1.2%, temperature 40°C. yields triterpenoids obtained 0.94 ± 0.05, 260.46 1.78, 118.69 0.71 mg/g, respectively, demonstrating increases 59.19%, 29.03%, 46.10% compared HL (HL, traditional reflux method). Furthermore, vitro digestion GLXB extract demonstrated significant lipid-lowering hypoglycemic effects. facilitated flocculation lipid droplets during exhibited capacity reduce rate fat digestion. These findings indicate that U-EAT significantly enhanced content ingredients improved activities extract, highlighting its potential further development application foods.

In order to efficiently extract β-glucan from highland barley (HBG) and study its structural characterization antioxidant activity, ultrasonic–microwave-assisted extraction (UME) was optimized by the response surface method (RSM). Under optimal conditions of 25.05 mL/g liquid–solid ratio, 20 min ultrasonic time, 480 W microwave intensity, DPPH radical scavenging activity HBG reached 25.67%. Two polysaccharide fractions were purified HBG, namely HBG-1 HBG-2. Structural indicated that HBG-2 had similar functional groups, glycosidic linkages, linear complex chain conformation. mainly composed glucose (98.97%), while primarily consisted arabinose (38.23%), galactose (22.01%), xylose (31.60%). Chlamydomonas reinhardtii polysaccharides (CRPs) are bioactive compounds derived from C. reinhardtii, yet their potential in cancer therapy remains largely unexplored. This study optimized the ultrasound-assisted extraction conditions using response surface methodology and proceeded with isolation purification of these polysaccharides. The optimal were identified as a sodium hydroxide concentration 1.5%, ultrasonic power 200 W, solid-to-liquid ratio 1:25 g/mL, an treatment time 10 min, water bath duration 2.5 h, yielding actual rate 5.71 ± 0.001%, which closely aligns predicted value 5.639%. Infrared analysis revealed that CRP-1 CRP-2 α-pyranose structures containing furoic acid, while CRP-3 CRP-4 β-pyranose acid. Experimental results demonstrated all four purified inhibited proliferation cervical (HeLa) hepatoma (HepG-2) colon (HCT-116) cells, showing most significant inhibitory effect on cancer, achieving inhibition rates 60.58 0.88% 40.44 1.44%, respectively, significantly reducing migration HeLa cells.
