Aloe weloensis Sebsebe, a species used for therapeutic purposes in Ethiopia, exemplifies the plant's rich history of herbal use, traditional applications, and need further research. weloensis, genus, has gained attention its potential pharmaceutical properties. This review examines phytochemical composition, pharmacological effects, applications weloensis. In this study, the process conditions, physicochemical properties, structural composition and activity of polysaccharides isolated from leechee peel (LPP) by ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) with enzyme alkali solution (ASE) were compared. The results showed that total sugar content LPP extracted UAE accounted for 75.65 %, which was significantly higher than solution. optimum conditions as follows: temperature 68.78 ℃, ultrasonic enzymolysis time 39.68 min, pectinase dosage 4.03 solid–liquid ratio 1:30 g/mL, power 360 W. antioxidant activities structure polysaccharide prepared under different It found UAE-LPP an α-type containing 15.83 % uronic acid. Moreover, strong in anti-lipid peroxidation reducing ability. A response surface methodology (RSM) and one-factor method were established to investigate the optimum conditions for extraction of lychee nuclear polysaccharides (LSP) by ultrasonic-assisted pectinase. In this research, the extraction process of polysaccharides from Pithecellobium clypearia Benth (PCBPs) was optimized using dual-frequency ultrasound-assisted (DUAE). The biological activities PCBPs were investigated by in vitro antioxidant, hypoglycemic, and anti-hyperlipidemic assay. High-performance anion-exchange chromatography, high-performance gel permeation SEM, UV–Vis spectroscopy, FT-IR spectra used to analyze monosaccharide composition, molecular weight, microscopic morphology, characteristic structure PCBPs. results showed that maximum rate 9.90 ± 0.16 % when ultrasonic time 8 min, liquid-to-material ratio 32 mL/g, power 510 W. also possessed excellent activities. addition, average weight 15.07 kDa. consisted rhamnose, arabinose, galactose, glucose, xylose, mannose, glucuronic acid, with molar ratios 11.07 %, 18.54 48.17 10.44 4.62 4.96 2.20 respectively. Moreover, SEM mainly a fine spherical mesh structure. above studies provided valuable theoretical basis for subsequent in-depth study

Gualou (Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim) and Xiebai (Allium macrostemon Bunge) have been extensively studied for their diverse active ingredients, which include flavonoids, polysaccharides, triterpenoids. This study employed a single-factor experiment alongside the Plackett-Burman design utilized response surface methodology to optimize ultrasonic-enzyme-assisted extraction (U-EAT) method functional components in (GLXB). The optimal conditions were identified as solid-to-liquid ratio of 1:11 g/mL, an alcohol concentration 55%, enzyme 1.2%, temperature 40°C. yields triterpenoids obtained 0.94 ± 0.05, 260.46 1.78, 118.69 0.71 mg/g, respectively, demonstrating increases 59.19%, 29.03%, 46.10% compared HL (HL, traditional reflux method). Furthermore, vitro digestion GLXB extract demonstrated significant lipid-lowering hypoglycemic effects. facilitated flocculation lipid droplets during exhibited capacity reduce rate fat digestion. These findings indicate that U-EAT significantly enhanced content ingredients improved activities extract, highlighting its potential further development application foods.

Extracting polyphenolic bioactive compounds from Pinus elliottii needles, a forestry residue, promises economic and environmental benefits, however, relevant experimental data are lacking. Herein, comprehensive investigation of the composition pine needles (PNs) was carried out. Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction (UAE) applied to extract needles. The optimal conditions extracts were determined by Response Surface Methodology (RSM). maximum total phenolic content (TPC) 40.37 mg GAE/g PNs achieved with solid–liquid ratio 1:20, 60 % ethanol, 350 W for 25 min at 45 °C. Polyphenolic showed antioxidant activity in scavenging free radicals reducing power (DPPH, IC50 41.05 μg/mL; FRAP 1.09 mM Fe2+/g PNs; ABTS, 214.07 μg/mL). Furthermore, second-order kinetic model also constructed describe mechanism UAE process, extraction activation energy estimated 12.26 kJ/mol.
