Heat stress (HS) is one of the key factors affecting an animal's immune system and productivity, as a result physiological reaction combined with environmental factors. This study examined short-term effects heat on cow behavior, recorded by innovative technologies, its impact blood gas parameters, using 56 1070 cows clinically evaluated during second subsequent lactations within first 30 days postpartum. Throughout experiment (from 4 June 2024 until 1 July 2024), behavior parameters (rumination time min/d. (RT), body temperature (°C), reticulorumen pH, water consumption (L/day), activity (h/day)) were monitored specialized SmaXtec boluses employing analyzer (Siemens Healthineers, 1200 Courtneypark Dr E Mississauga, L5T 1P2, Canada). During period, temperature-humidity index (THI), based ambient humidity, was used to calculate THI categorize data into four classes follows: 1-THI 60-63 (4 2024-12 2024); 2-THI 65-69 (13 2024-18 3-THI 73-75 (19 2024-25 4-THI 73-78 (26 2024-1 2024). The results showed that significantly reduced rumination up 70% in highest class (73 78) increased 2%. It also caused 12.6% decrease partial carbon dioxide pressure (pCO2) 32% increase oxygen (pO2), decreasing plasma sodium 1.36% potassium 6%, while increasing chloride 3%. findings underscore critical need for continuous monitoring, early detection, proactive management mitigate adverse impacts dairy health productivity. Recommendations include use advanced monitoring technologies specific parameter tracking detect signs implement more timely interventions.

Abstract This study investigates the impact of urea molasses-treated wheat straw on growth performance and nutrient digestibility in Azikheli buffalo male calves. A longitudinal experiment was conducted sixteen calves, randomly assigned to four experimental dietary treatments ( n = 4 per group). The diets included a control group (U0) with untreated three groups where replaced 33% (U33), 66% (U66), or 100% (U100) total mixed ration. Results indicated that increasing proportion urea-treated from 0 led significant improvements dry matter intake (from 2931 4034 g/day) organic 2596 3623 g/day). Digestibility matter, crude protein, fiber also followed an trend, reaching 77.42%, 81.21%, 87.10%, 60.22%, respectively, at highest level. Furthermore, weight gain significantly greater calves fed straw, by those U66, U33, U0 groups. Feed conversion efficiency improved substantially U100 U66 than U33 U0. These findings suggest incorporating higher levels UMTWS rations enhances digestibility, promoting superior feed

The health and productivity of cattle are significantly compromised by metabolic diseases on a global scale. These disorders disrupt normal processes, leading to substantial economic losses for the livestock industry. Metabolic can arise from defective biochemical pathways, deficiencies in enzymes, coenzymes, or cofactors, may be either inherited acquired. Introduction The aim of this study was to evaluate the transformative potential precision livestock farming (PLF) in dairy production, nutrition, and reproductive efficiency by implementing proactive management strategies that utilize real-time data. Methods Data were gathered from a commercial farm, employing 3D accelerometer system attached ear-tags monitor activity rumination behavior. Additionally, information on animal-related events such as oestrus, artificial insemination, clinical diseases, treatments recorded. Results It observed there differences between positive negative cows days following insemination (AI). Specifically, day 0 16, exhibited higher time compared cows, with contrast being particularly significant 9 10. Over duration study, tested produced, average, 0.78 kg more milk per day. Discussion This suggests animals production less likely be pregnant, potentially due increased nutrient allocation mammary gland, resulting pronounced energy balance consequently lower conception rates. Furthermore, utilized capable distinguishing daily lying pregnant non-pregnant oestrus return. finding highlights for developing alert identify “probable pregnant” non-pregnant” animals.

There is currently no research on the application evaluation of R. mucilaginosa yeast culture (RYC) in animal production. Therefore, this study investigated effects RYC antioxidant capacity, lipid metabolism, and immunity sheep livers. Twenty-four 3-month-old Duhan male (36 ± 4 kg) were divided into four groups. The control group received a basal diet, L diet + 10 g/sheep/day RYC, M 20 H 40 RYC. trial lasted for 75 days. results showed that content glutathione peroxidase livers was significantly increased by 26.6%, malondialdehyde decreased 38% (p < 0.05). Additionally, serum levels total cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein low-density cholesterol decreased; liver C16:0 C18:2n6C C20:1 Furthermore, contents cytokines TNF-α IFN-γ from also 20% 24.8%, respectively These findings suggest supplementation with can enhance improve reduce inflammation livers, which advantageous farming healthy sheep.

This study evaluates the impact of dietary supplementation with hemp-based polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) on membrane lipid profiles and reproductive performance Martina Franca jacks. Over a 90-day period, twelve donkeys were divided into treatment group receiving hemp oil control standard diet. Semen blood samples collected analyzed at multiple time points for composition parameters. Results revealed that sperm motility improved significantly, increasing from 92.61% in to 96.63% by Day 60 ( p = 0.05). Normal morphology also showed significant enhancement, rising 96.58% 98.85% 0.04). Conversely, gel-free semen volume decreased significantly group, 64.17 mL 28.20 < 0.0001). Lipidomic analyses indicated an increased proportion omega-3 PUFAs, such as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA; 0.08% 0.20% 60, 0.0001), membranes, alongside reduction peroxidation index (264.11 86.53 These changes suggest fluidity oxidative stability. findings underscore potential supplement enhance outcomes donkeys, broader implications livestock management.

Of the animals in study, 48 were scored sample lameness prevalence 14.6% (n = 22 0, n 19 1, 6 2 1 3 (score combined due low numbers identified)). There was no statistical difference number visits between lame 3) sound 0 1); however, there statistically relevant decrease duration that spent brushing per visit (sound 91.7 ± 6.06 s compared 63.0 9.22 s, p 0.0097). No significant identified interacted (i.e., which body part) when group. The group, general, showed preference towards interacting brush head area (63.95% observed over 72 h involved head). In conclusion, monitoring use (duration visit) could aid identification clinically animals.

Poland is one of the leading milk producers in EU, being fifth largest after countries such as Germany, France, Italy, and Netherlands. From Poland's accession to European Union 2004 up 2022, Polish production experienced dynamic development. In this, there occurred a strong decline number dairy farms (by -78%) cows -21%), an increase herd size (3.5 times) (+60%) yield per cow +62%). These were among highest growth dynamics analysed countries. As result this significant transformation, maintained important position exports, with 31% export share 2022.
