Phoebe chekiangensis is an indigenous, endangered, and valuable timber garden tree species in China, which notable for having a short juvenile phase (early flowering), unique among the genus. However, molecular mechanisms regulating flowering of P. remain unexplored, primarily due to lack transcriptomic or genomic data. In present study, transcriptome sequencing yielded 53 million RNA reads, resulting 111,250 unigenes after de novo assembly. Of these, 47,525 (42.72%) were successfully annotated non-redundant (Nr) database. Furthermore, 15,605 assigned Clusters Orthologous Groups (KOGs), 36,370 classified into Gene Ontology (GO) categories. A total 16,135 mapped Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) database, involving 298 pathways. Based on expression levels, Gibberellin signaling pathway-related genes most predominant levels. Hormonal analysis showed that gibberellin (GA) levels varied across tissues stages, as GA20 leaves low during full bloom, while GA1 GA5 peaked flowers. several key involved biosynthesis, including CPS, GID1, GA20ox, GA3ox, GA2ox, exhibited stage-specific patterns. Certain highly expressed initial phases flowering, others, like GA3ox reached peak at bloom. These findings provide insights underlying chekiangensis, laying foundation future breeding efforts. This dataset will serve important public resource research this species, facilitating discovery functional related its growth, development, regulation.

The flowering time of Arabidopsis thaliana, a model plant, is significantly accelerated when exposed to long-day (LD) conditions, as it typical LD plant. Consequently, the investigation regulatory network in A. thaliana under conditions has garnered considerable attention study signals, resulting significant breakthrough. While many plants, including exhibit delayed non-inductive short-day (SD) they are still capable flowering. Nevertheless, research on regulation induction plants SD been limited. This demonstrated involvement CYTOKININ RESPONSE FACTORS 12 (CRF12) conditions. Analysis expression patterns revealed that activation CRF12 and protein stability occurred exclusively environments. Molecular genetic analyses photoperiod h light darkness, CRF12, CONSTANS (CO), TARGET OF EAT 1/2 (TOE1/2) engage competitive interactions regulate time, while 8 16 modulates by inhibiting activity TOE1/2.

The circadian clock provides a fundamental timing mechanism for plant fitting to seasonal changes in the photoperiod. Although photoperiodic regulation of developmental transition has been studied several species, our understanding core parallelisms across species is sparse. Here we present comparative analysis networks by identifying common regulatory principles that govern key genes transition. Using time-course transcriptomic datasets from long-day plants and short-day taken different photoperiods, propose model integrates minimal set components predict necessary conditions governing species-specific outputs. This study identifies patterns associated with function plants, linking photoperiod interpretation architecture.

Non-target plants play a key role in maintaining ecological balance and biodiversity. Here, we studied the effect of chiral herbicide imazethapyr (IM) on flowering initiation non-target plant Arabidopsis thaliana its underlying mechanism. Plants treated with R-IM initiated earlier than those S-IM. The herbicidally active had much greater various phytohormones S-IM, this increased concentration R-IM. Before flowering, significant internal levels 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid (ACC), indole-3-acetic (IAA), abscisic (ABA), gibberellic (GA3) plants, which indicated that it promoted production ACC, high concentrations also IAA, ABA, GA3. GA3 before during flowering. High strongly IAA inhibited GA3, or ACC depending applied. Thus, under treatment may be affected by phytohormone throughout plant, likely have effects
