Carp (Cyprinus carpio) is one of the major farmed fish species in China. In recent years, increasing water temperature caused by global warming has physiological stress fish, which turn affects heart function and health fish. Therefore, we hypothesized that electrocardiogram (ECG) parameters carp could reflect temperature-induced stress. To test this hypothesis, study, real-time online cardiac assessment system (OCFAS) was used to monitor signals (heart rate, P wave, R T P-R interval, QRS complex, Q-T interval) at different temperatures. The results showed rate increased with within a certain range. However, when exceeded range, significantly impaired. interval shortened increase body temperature, there negative correlation between them. This study emphasizes importance using ECG assessments evaluate health, it further improves evaluation index for At same time, aquaculture environments requires special attention avoid its adverse effects on aquatic populations.
