The mass concentration of atmospheric particulate matter (PM) has been continuously decreasing in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Biomass burning brown carbon (BrC) aerosol affects the climate by absorbing light in visible and UV wavelengths, with daytime photochemistry changing its optical properties. Here, aging UVB irradiation of BrC both aqueous particle states was conducted to evaluate conditions mechanism required change ability absorb an emphasis on role radicals oxidation. Abstract. Air pollution is one of the largest environmental health risks and leading causes adverse outcomes mortality worldwide.
