support
enhanced
immune
function,
metabolic
regulation,
oxidative
stress
reduction,
disease
resistance
poultry.
Mushroom
species
like
Pleurotus
ostreatus,
Agaricus
bisporus,
Flammulina
velutipes
have
demonstrated
improvements
rate,
conversion
ratio
(FCR),
carcass
traits,
meat
quality,
egg
production.
Importantly,
mushroom
stems,
often
discarded
waste,
gaining
attention
for
their
nutritional
value,
making
them
cost-effective
eco-friendly
resource.
Medicinal
Lentinula
edodes,
Ganoderma
lucidum,
Trametes
versicolor
further
enhance
antioxidant
defense
gut
microbial
balance.
This
review
synthesizes
current
evidence
on
application
stems
diets,
emphasizing
roles,
physiological
impacts,
underlying
mechanisms.
Moreover,
it
discusses
relevance
promoting
production
by
reducing
antibiotic
use
valorizing
agricultural
by-products.
Future
research
should
aim
standardize
selection,
dosage
levels,
feeding
durations
while
assessing
long-term
safety
economic
feasibility.

potential
could
transform
nutrition
