Histamine is a biologically active molecule that serves as reliable predictor of the quality fish. In this work, authors have developed novel humanoid-shaped tapered optical fiber (HTOF) biosensor based on localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) phenomenon to detect varying histamine concentrations. experiment, and distinctive tapering structure has been using combiner manufacturing system contemporary processing technologies. Graphene oxide (GO)/multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) are immobilized HTOF probe increase biocompatibility biosensor. instance, GO/MWCNTs deployed first, then gold nanoparticles (AuNPs). Consequently, help give abundant space for immobilization (AuNPs in case) well area attachment biomolecules surface. By immobilizing AuNPs probe, evanescent field can stimulate excite LSPR phenomena sensing histamine. The functionalized with diamine oxidase enzyme order enhance sensor's particular selectivity. proposed sensor demonstrated experimentally sensitivity 5.5 nm/mM detection limit 59.45 µM linear range 0-1000 µM. addition, probe's reusability, reproducibility, stability, selectivity tested; results these indices show high application potential detecting levels marine products.

Mycotoxins are toxic secondary metabolites produced by certain fungi, which can contaminate various food commodities, including fruits and their derived products. Patulin Alternaria toxins among the most commonly encountered mycotoxins in fruit In this review, sources, toxicity, regulations related to these mycotoxins, as well detection mitigation strategies widely discussed. is a mycotoxin mainly fungal genera Penicillium , Aspergillus Byssochlamys . toxins, fungi genus, another common group of found The prevalent alternariol (AOH) monomethyl ether (AME). These concern due potential negative effects on human health. Ingesting contaminated with cause acute chronic health problems. Detection patulin products be challenging low concentrations complexity matrices. Common analytical methods, good agricultural practices, contamination monitoring important for safe consumption And Future research will continue explore new methods detecting managing ultimate goal ensuring safety quality product supply.

Histamine poisoning is a significant public health and safety concern. Intoxication from ingestion of food containing high amounts histamine may cause mild or severe symptoms that can even culminate in cardiac arrest. Nonetheless, although levels dairy products are not subject to any regulation, important outbreaks adverse effects have been reported due intake with content, especially ripened cheeses. Histamine, biogenic amine, accumulate as result the metabolism starter nonstarter lactic acid bacteria, well yeasts contribute ripening flavoring final product, spoilage bacteria. The aim this review describe microbiological causes presence fermented milk products, propose control measures potential methods for obtaining histamine-free products. Thus, manuscript focuses on histamine-producing microbiota highlighting detection bacteria through traditional novel techniques. In addition, aims explore prevent access raw materials, formation such careful selection cultures lacking ability produce histamine, implementation effective processing technologies reduce microbiota. Finally, removal already formed histamine-degrading microorganisms by enzymatic degradation will also be explored.

Histamine intolerance (HIT) is assumed to be due a deficiency of the gastrointestinal (GI) enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO) and, therefore, food component histamine not being degraded and/or absorbed properly within GI tract. Involvement mucosa in various disorders and diseases, several with unknown origin, effects some medications seem reduce DAO activity. HIT causes variable, functional, nonspecific, non-allergic extra-intestinal complaints. Usually, evaluation for included differential diagnoses patients unexplained, functional complaints or here-listed diseases. The clinical diagnosis challenging, thorough anamnesis all HIT-linked complaints, using standardized questionnaire, mainstay diagnosis. So far, values serum have been established correlate activity gut, but may supported determination low value. A targeted dietary intervention, consisting histamine-reduced diet supplementation oral capsules, helpful HIT-related symptoms. This manuscript will present why should also taken into account diseases association In this review, we discuss currently increasing evidence that primarily disorder it originates gut.

Biogenic amine is one of the main categories hazardous compounds in meat and products, making its detection methods vital for assurance edible safety. In this sense, many biogenic techniques such as chromatographic, electrophoretic, electrochemical have been developed, which play an irreplaceable role ensuring safety products. Due to increasing demand fast on-site techniques, visual gradually developed compared with non-visual chromatography electrophoresis. Herein, we comprehensively review mechanism latest progress these methods; besides, put forward prospects future development a view providing support establishment more accurate efficient detection, prevention control strategies amines.
