Thirteen new Euphorbia diterpenoids, euphylonanes A–M (1–13), and eight known ones were isolated from the whole plants of hylonoma. Compounds 1 2 are two rearranged ingenanes bearing a rare 6/6/7/3-fused ring system. Compound 3 represents first example 9,10-epoxy tigliane, while 4–21 typical varying with substituents. Structures elucidated using combination spectroscopic, computational, chemical methods. Most exerted significant antiadipogenic effect in 3T3-L1 adipocytes, among which 4 was most active an EC50 value 0.60 ± 0.27 μM. Mechanistic study revealed that inhibited adipogenesis lipogenesis adipocytes via activation AMPK signaling pathway.

Nine jatrophane diterpenoids were isolated from the whole plant Euphorbia helioscopia, including two new ones, helioscopnins A (1) and B (2). Comprehensive spectroscopic data analysis ECD calculations elucidated their structures, absolute configurations. All compounds evaluated for bioactivity towards autophagic flux by flow cytometry using HM mCherry-GFP-LC3 cells. Compounds 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 significantly increased flux.

Comprehensive Summary Terpenoids are a large and diverse family of secondary metabolites that have gained more attention from chemists pharmacologists for their intriguing skeletons broad biological activities, including anti‐inflammatory, antitumoral, antimicrobial, anti‐viral effects. Based on the previous reviews, this review comprehensively summarized recent advances bioactive terpenoids, focusing structural features promising covering literature 2020 to 2023. In review, 532 terpenoids with remarkable chemical architectures properties classified into sesquiterpenoids (142), diterpenoids (129), sesterterpenoids (24), triterpenoids (52), meroterpenoids (185), were isolated terrestrial marine resources. This would provide reference researchers rapidly discover interesting further study as drug leads.

Three new halimane furanoditerpenoids (1-3) and three clerodane (4-6), along with seven known terpenoids including four pimarane diterpenoids (7-10) norisoprenoids (11-13) were isolated from the 95% EtOH extracts of plants Croton cnidophyllus. The 2D structures absolute configuration (1-6) elucidated by analysis their HRMS NMR data as well comparison experimental calculated ECD curves. Bioassay revealed that two compounds (8 9) possessed certain inhibitory effects against NO production stimulated LPS, IC50 values 19.00 ± 1.76 21.61 1.11 μM, respectively.
